Rang once hung up and showed as missed call... At first I thought it was an classmate but decided to check the number and came here. Read everyone posts and knew then it was some scam caller... Thank you all that posted.....

336-421-2282 called here on Nov. 7th. On the Caller ID it said Burlington NC and we did not answer it.

Calling the number back, they claim to be some rewards organization from some web site I recently visited and offer a reward card. This is almost certainly phishing but I did not pursue it enough to verify.

Same here. Rang once, then, 'missed call'. Message was that I visited a website, they did not say which one, and that because of that I was to receive a 'free rebate card'. At the end of message it asked if I wanted the card to press 'one' and press 'two' to be dropped from their call list. Of course, I pressed 'two'!

Says I recently signed up for something on line.  I normally never give my cell number out unless it says they won't call me or share my number unless they need to reach me for other reason's.  Either a scam or a website lied!

It's a reverse telemarketing number. They don't "Call" you, because they hangup, and you call them back. Just ignore the call and don't call back. If you do, you will just get an automated message that will eventually lead to you paying for something...

Just got a call from this number as well, did not even hear the phone ring just saw "missed call"  I also never answer my phone unless I recognize the number! If they really know you and want to talk to you they will leave a voice message!!!  And this is not the only number I get calls from there are so many more and it is on my private cell phone, where in he world do they get our numbers from?? Ughhhhhh

Answered the phone(called to my cell which isn't listed and I don't use for anything other than personal) and no sound at all.  Didn't hang up.  I said "Hello" multiple times.

Second time this number has called me.  Claims to be some sort of redemption card for visiting some web site they are partnererd with --- which I have not done.  i call the number back and press 2 to be put on their do not call list -- this is the second time I have done this.

I just received the same thing on my cel phone, "ring" and "missed call" in Texas at 3:50 CDT.

Got a "missed call" notice on 8/7/13 in the afternoon. My assumption is they want you to call back. After reading the above, I am sure I don't know this person and it's a scam of some sort.

Why don't you unsign and see what happens. People that scam do not use the DNC list.
They scam. If you are on the DNC list, believe me.... It is working for you.
If it is a legit business, you would be able to call back and talk to someone.

me too and i am also on the do not call.

They called me and it rang like once, maybe twice then they hung up. I never answer the phone if I don't have the number saved. If someone really wants me they will leav a voicemail.
