I got a call from a guy named Randy Richards (claiming to be from Microsoft) wanting to diagnose my system.  He said his phone number was 647-694-0562.

The last time these guys called me I asked for some sort of ID number to prove who they were.  They got a little smarter this time and provided me a CLIS ID this time.  Apparently this ID is the same across any computer of something.

This is clearly a scam so I took the liberty of keeping him tied up on the phone for about 1 hour.  I just played stupid asking a bunch of crazy questions.  I could tell he was getting quite frustrated with me.

I got a call from an Indian accented guy too though not sure what that phone number was. He did say the online pc expert is the name of his company, in Texas. The first call had audio problem - his voice was cut in and out. I knew it is a scam so I asked him to call back which he did. So I told him to hold while I did my other usual routine. He kept holding for at least five minutes and since I don't want to tie up my line so I hanged up. A few seconds later he called again and after he said a few "hello" I hanged up again.

Tell them to hold!

My wife got a call from this guy too..or at least one of them..I told him I knew about his scam because I am a hacker myself (white hat) and have far more knowledge than any lapdog this company could throw at me...I began by messing with his mind (asking him what the app was that was sending him this info..if he was an actual microsoft partner and if I call Microsoft can and will they confirm this and finally I resorted to silliness to upset him into hanging up on me...this is a great source of entertainment if you follow my advice...1: remember it's a scam and there is nothing official..feel free to make him angry...2: Pretending to be hard of hearing can suck the energy out of someone really fast..act like you are in your 80s and get him/her to repeat everything...3:ask questions about things that mean nothing to the conversation..4: Feel free to make statements that are offensive offhandedly..EG: Oh thank god you are calling from wherever..I hate those damn indian telemarketers pretending to be from other places...if you waste enough of their time they will not call you anymore..

What a smooth Scam.  The caller said that they had received unusual amount of warnings from my computer and inferred he was from Microsoft.  My Norton Protection would not prevent this and it was a highly developed malware and my computer would soon crash unless something was done.  He had me click on a lot of different things which i know nothing about and it showed lots of lots of warnings for differtnt files.  He said my warranty with microsoft was up although i only bought this about 5 months ago.  He said it could be easily fixed by his technician which was a Microsoft Technician, and they could sell me a two year warranty so I could call them anytime it happened again.  He said "You don't want it to crash do you?"  I asked if he was authorized by Microsoft and he said they were technicians for Microsoft services all over the globe.  I started recording the conversation and he asked if i was recording it and I said yes. I asked if he was authorized by Microsoft and he kept saying they were technicians for Microsoft services. The number he called from was a Las Vegas, NV number 702-614-5500 but he finally said he was from onlinepcexpert and was not with Microsoft or suthorized by Microsoft but were technicians who were trained to work on their services..(Probably because he was being recorded)  He transferred me to the technician who wanted to let him take over the computer and fix  it and I declined and hung up. I,m 72 years old and almost did it.

i also got a call from these people (onlinepcexpert..at 347-286-1992) in the evening on mid-June 2012. The caller was an extremely pushy woman with an Indian accent who insisted she had "been asked to call me as a representative of Microsoft." and they "had received error messages from my oldest PC running Microsoft software that it is infected and needed to be serviced with their online service immediately...let me connect you with one of our technicians" I smelled a RAT and repeatedly asked her pointed questions: how did she know exactly? which IP address is effected? which PC exactly did she reference (she said "your oldest one" was the best she could explain!!), how did she get my number? what exactly was the virus? She always quickly tried to re-direct the conversation and kept saying I was in danger...when I finally wore her down after 20 minutes of challenging her, she became irate and said "why are you wasting my time!! I will send a command to infect your computers then! I am sending the request to bomb your computer with virus tonight!!" and then she hung up on me. These people at www.onlinepcexpert.com are the lowest of the low scumbags!

I received a similar call as Mr Maturana.  I think it was a hacker.  The guy calling said his name was Matthew and that his company is called Online PC Expert.  He insisted he was NOT a hacker, which makes me think he was.  He wanted me to log into my computer.  I said I was not at my computer.  He then wanted to know a good time to call back and I said I'll get back to you and asked for the number.  He gave me the number 347-286-1992.  He was very pushy and persistent.  I am certain this is a scam artist.

I have been receiving a call from: 000-000-0000 and when I answer the telephone they said they calling for microsoft because it shows that we are having problems with our computer, so we then ask for they direct telephone# in which they reply that they calling from Delaware 347-286-1992, but in reallity this is a NY, Queens, Staten Island number.  I would like if possible for you guys to follow up because when I called Microsoft they said that Microsoft will never call the house if we are having computer problems.
***They said they where calling from Nerdi and said and they will tell you that you have a problem on your windows system and they'll ask you to allow them to go into your system and if you accept they will tell you what to do so they can login into your computer, once they are in they can steal your information*** When I ask for there website after I called them back they said website is nerdi.com
