Got a call from this number at work. He said his name was Mr. Anderson and I had a Fraud against me. It was a very echo call and when I asked him for his address he started saying some numbers and I asked him to take me off of Speaker Phone he hung up on me.  NOT calling back, I would get a registered letter if this was actually happening!!!  SCAM!!!

Do not call him back, it is a scam. They count on catching you off guard with legal buzz words to confuse people.

Stated he was from Hopkins law firm and they had an issue against me. Told me to call back but have received nothing in the mail regarding this. I don't think I want to call him back. He had a heavy accent and no details in the message besides my name.

Just received phone call at work from a Mr Anderson (heavy Indian accent) threating me with arrest and stating I owed money from a pay day loan from several years ago.  He said a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I got this paid immediately.  I told him I wouldn't give him my debit card information and wasn't going to agree to any payment until I received legal documentation proving I owed the money and to the company directly.  He got very angry and started yelling at me.  I told him since he already had my email address he could email me the documents since he is in NY and I'm in Colorado...but he refused.  When I told him I have a right by law to ask for the documents and he has to supply them he lost it and really started yelling at me.  I ask if I could speak with his supervisor since I didn't think he was being very professional yelling and threating me. You can only imagine how that went over...I hung up on him.  If I owe the money I will gladly pay it but not until I have legal documents in hand showing its legit.

This guy called me at my work, saying I owed $1000, from a pay day loan in 2012. this is absolutely FALSE and this guy is a scam! DO NOT give any personal information! He said his name was Michael.

Indian voice told me I was approved for a $500 loan yesterdabit I had to pay $153 to get it and I did the funds is going to be in your account in 35 minutes never received anything so all together I paid out $386 now im in da negative I called all day no answer or call back what do I do???

Did he make you get a Money Pak?  I just got taken too by this guy.  Been trying to call him back and I keep getting his voicemail.  He will not return my calls.

revieved call from same number with a man w/ heavy east indian accent saying he was with the IRS and that I owed 1800.00 in penaties to the IRS for the last 3 years I've filed taxes he had my home address and my SSN. stated the irs had sent me 3 letters and that they wanted an immediate payment. I didn't make a payment but the fact he had my ssn and my address is a scary thought.

I also keep getting a call from this number butt he calls himself Michael Watts from NYPD. I ignore the calls. I have researched to see who I need to call at NYPD to report this man that is claming to be a police office but I have not completed my search. But I will report him soon enough.

he took my life savings from my bank. I reported him to the fbi and still have the voice mail from him.

And wrote to GE bank and they dont do loans.  and never heard of the man

Got a call from the same number saying he is from GE Bank and put money in our savings account and since we never called back he says for 3 months he will take our savings.  He called himself Michael Lord.  And he did get our account information and took our money

Got a call from this number. Caller identified himself as Michael Roarke(sp?) of the NYPD. All NYPD phone numbers use area code 718. He mentioned something about legal action. I suspect this is a scam. Police departments DO NOT call people regarding criminal matters or civil matter either. They send you a registered letter (not email) stating what the matter is about.
