Called three times from between 9 am and noon today.

Your best bet is to block these calls.  I have TC and can add 30 numbers to my block list.  So far working well.  Check with your phone company and find out how to do that.

Same as everyone else - these w***es call all the time. Their so called taking you off their list seems to last about a day.

I suggest we all get police whistles and when they ask if we have our electric bill ready we reply by blasting their eardrum with the whistle.

I've been wondering the same thing-how to stop them. The Do Not Call Registry doesn't work.  When I did answer and waited for a "Rep", I told them this was the 15th time I told them to stop calling me, and I'm on the DNC Registry.  What did that do?  Increased the calls!  Now it's at least twice a day.  If you're in NYC, maybe we can bombard AG Eric Schniderman.  Something MUST be done.

This has been going on for months and when I call the number the voice mail asks if I want to take my phone number off.......press 1.........I do it and I still get the calls --I would like to know what Verizon is doing about this besides putting an advertisement for Verizon on this email for help..............

They called so many times! I answered a couple of times asking me to take me off their list and they hung up on me. Again today they called twice and the second time I answered. A guy asked  me for my electric bill number I said "no, but please take me off the list" the guy promptly hung up. So I tried to call them back and there is a recording saying "the number you dialed is not in service". Please help me getting off their list. I am on the do-not-call-list. Thank you

Same issues as above: getting repeated calls, multiple times per week and sometimes per day; am told they will remove me from their call list and then they don't; generally refuse to give me any information about themselves; hang up when I ask for a manager.

One caller spoke with me a little and she said her firm is called "Live Voice" or something like that. She said the electricity firm they do business with for "lead generation" is either Orange & Rockland Utilities or Pike County Light & Power. When I contact these companies, they claim no affiliation with any telemarketing company.

but what the heck can we do to stop these guys?  please don't tell me this is Legal.  It can't be!  Why doesn't someone do something about this already.  where the heck is mayor Bloomberg?  Just think of all those old women in their apartments struggling/tripping to get the phone, thinking it's their dear relative, and instead it's these scammers.  What if one of these old people trips and breaks their neck?  This has got to be stopped!  Who can we call to stop this?

All of the above. I receive these calls even 2 or 3 times a day.

Please!  Con Ed, which is my company in NY, do something about it.

They call me on Sunday morning at 8.00 a.m. and on Saturday night at 8.00 p.m.  I have asked TWICE to be taken off of list.  Now, I do not answer anything with 347.  How do I make this stop!!!

I get calls from this number many times a week. Sometimes I was able to request that I be not called most of the time I get no response or that its a nonworking number.
They call a odd times, hang up or ask to speak to the person responsible for payments.
This is a doctors office and these nonsense calls are disruptive and time consuming.

They called again yesterday.  I posted here on April 11th.  Once again, I'll report them on the DNC registry, but obviously they can't/won't stop them

I have been harassed, two or three times a day, offering an alternative to Con Edison. Enough is enough!

Pressing the number to be removed does nothing, and only confirms that they've reached a working number. The FCC advises not to press any number.  I guess the only recourse is just not to answer the phone and keep reporting them to the Do Not Call List.  Sorry to say, don't think this will do any good.

I didn't answer, and the Caller ID showed "Help Desk".  I figured it was the same scammers pretending to be Con Edison.  In fact, ConEd has posted an alert against these scammers on their web site.  I've reported them dozens of times to the DNC Registry.  I also complained to the FCC, but obviously nothing does any good, short of a class action suit.

They call me about twice a week for months now.  Every time I wait to speak to someone and then when I say I want off the list, they hang up on me.  When I call back, it says press 1 to be remove .  I always do this too, but it obviously doesn't work.  They always call around 7:30 and I feel like my home is invaded all the time.  I have reported it to the FCC at least 10 times.  I feel ready to do a police report for harassment.  This is too much!  I am on do not call registry for years. It says 'help center.'

There are many calls from this number all the time!  I am really sick of it.  Why is there no way to stop these predators?
