they are trying right now to buy a ring from me wanting more pics. I sent them a picture of this thread with the number at the top and told them not to bother me anymore.

I literally just got a text about a ring I am selling and he asked for PayPal info etc. I looked him up before responding and thank you all!!!!! I would not have done paypal or sent it with out funds in hand but you all saved me time.

he or she just tried that on me with a ring it is starting to get aggravating

Same here.... i have something on CL .. this number is through google voice which cannot be tracked... they are scammers and will not pay.

Adam Smith, he claims to be. Who buys their "twin sister" a freaking engagement/ wedding ring...seriously!! Says he only works through paypal. Said he lived in Ny and sister lives in CA. I knew it from the beginning, normal people have lives and WORK! not have the ability to text people at 12 in the afternoon

I have a diamond engagement ring list on Craigslist. This person text me at 4:45 AM wanting me to send it to Florida for their twin sister. They would give me $50 for postage. Then they would pay me through PayPal. I told them, "No, I would only sell locally." They then stopped their texts at that point.

i have a diamond ring for sale on craigslist.  this party texted me, wanting to purchase via paypal and would include additional money to cover cost of shipping FEDEX.  Was suspicious so googled the number and learned he is a scammer.  I hope he gets busted.

This person text me and was wanting to purchase an item I was selling on craigslist and wanted to pay through pay pal. I created an invoice and emailed it to an the email. They send a fake payed invoice like it payment was sent. I notified PayPal and they said no money was sent and I sent the emails to spoof pay pal email. These people think your going to send the merchandise without being paid. They try and trick you that payment was sent with a fake PayPal invoice. Do not fall for it. They only communicate through text.

Tried to scam me too, but I reported him or her to paypal. Sent a fake invoice to my email that invoice had been paid and wanted the goods. Text only

Hey guys i from Canada, I was trying to sell my PS3 on kijiji. I start getting text from that number, person want to buy it. Then person saying I have to ship this GAME lol to south Africa and he or her will give me 100 extra fro my troubles. Then he/her asked me if I have pay pal account in order to transfer money their.I said I do have paypal account but i will not use it because is directly linked to my bank account. HE/HER didn't like the answer and try to convince me that is a good idea and I will be blessed by god if I help HEM/HER  to get this very valuably item to hes friend in south Africa. SO on that the conversation was over, two hours later Im revising this from that number

He seems very interested and text non stop. He wants to use PayPal but wants the goods before payment clears. I'm the lucky one he didn't scam me, as hard as he tried. Look these people up and do your research or beware he'll scam you with kindness

Craigslist Scammer-Constantly asks for PAYPAL info and for item to be shipped. Only texts or email does not call. Very Persistent and trys very hard to seem interested and polite. SCAMMER BEWARE!!!
