I have just received a phone call from the same # saying that I owe them $ for an unpaid loan and that if I don't pay it the local sheriff will come and arrest me I told them I'll believe it when it happens until then don't call my phone no more

I have had him calling yesterday and today and he did this before a couple months ago.

Hi Robin,  Thank you for your post.  I am happy to hear that the Atty. General is looking into these people.  They have been calling me about every 2 to 3 months with the same scam.  They call my home and my work.  I hope they are locked away for a very long time.

I received a call from  1(347)671-0302 stating that he was calling from a lawyers office and what he was calling about was time sensitive. I told him I had pulled information about him and his number off the internet and that the Attorney Generals Office is investigating him and his office. When I said that his entire tone changed to almost a defensive tone. This individual did present himself as having a western style name, however he did have a thick Indian(regional) accent.

You can report them to the FTC.  However, as they're scammers and most likely out of this country, there's not much can be done. Good for your boss calling them out though!  It helps if your workplace knows you are the victim of scammers.  It may also be a good idea to contact your bank and let them know what's going on, as well as the three credit agencies (TransUnion, Equifax and Experian).  They can put a fraud alert on your file which would help protect you if the scammers try to use your info.

I have all the above comments going on also. My boss finally got on the phone and laid them out. They dont call my work number anymore but call my cell probably 10 times a day. Mine also dies down after a few weeks then starts back up. What can i do about this?

This guy called me 23 times today saying I was going to be arrested and that I owe Money to a loan I never took out. Total scam I flipped on him and he has left me alone

This number has called our home asking for someone else and I keep telling them they have the wrong number.  They have called my house 35 times.  I live in Kansas and this number comes through from New York.  The man is Chinese that calls and has threatened me several times.  I told him off good today and told him I reported him to the police here and also told him he was a scammer and he was a f---king idiot.  I also let him know I am pressing charges against him for harrassment, then I hung up.  The idiot had the nerve to call back 3 more times.... I just used a blow horn in his ear.  I think he finally got the message.  2 weeks ago, he left a message telling me I was going to be arrested and I owed money for a loan I never took out.  I did call the police and told them about this man and the number and they let me know, I am not the only one in Kansas that has filed a complaint against the.

This guy keeps calling me named david thomas saying I owe $350 for an unpaid loan and that I am being sue for laundering money  and that if i dont pay the loan my county sheriff will come to my job and my house to take me to court tomorrow and he gets angry when I try to ask question like what s the name of the firm he works for. he works for law office of hernandez i think.

I was getting calls from my cell  and my job about paying a loan that I did not owe. The guy said his name was Ron Adams and that I owed $400 dollars to a loan company. So when I called the company back and basically said "I knew it was a scam" the guy rushed me off the phone saying that I would be contacted in a hour from a person about my arrest and hung up on me. I was about to take out a loan from a company  earlier, but later declined the transaction, so my guess is that they somehow took my information from that website and used my information to try and pull me into their game.

I did get a call from these people and I would not verify any information I proceeded to call the lawfirm in NewYork that they said they are from and they told me they are trying to scam people and she took my name and phone number because the lawfirm David Hernandez is going to press charges on them. So call the lawfirm in NY David Hernandez I think it was Brookly NY and let them know. don't even answer the phone for this number.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT 5:24PM STATING I WILL BE PICKED UP MONDAY FOR FRAUD THAT I OWE A PAYDAY LOAN, I WILL HAVE A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST AND SO, WHEN I SAID I THINK ITS A SCAM HE STAED YELLING& HUNG UP HE HAD AN ACCENT.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER STATING THEY WERE FROM A LAW FIRM AND I WILL BE IN COURT ON MONDAY & GO TO JAIL SO ON.

They called me 10 times today from this  number stating that I have to pay $545.00 on a loan that i never took out. I have notified the local Sheriffs office of this situation. The other day they said they would call work and then I recieved a call from someone from HR saying I was terminated but I knew that was false and this is a scam so I am not even calling them as advised by the county sheriff here,

I received a call on my cell phone & work phone threatening me that I was going to be put in Jail for something I owe nothing to. The said they were call from Attorney Hernandez office. If did not respond to them I would be arrested

Said they were attorneys but everyone who answered the phone was Justin Smith (even the ladies)

Had this phone number call me and told me that I would have a warrant issued for my arrest if I didn't send them $456. They knew some of my information but not all of it. They gave an address that I have never lived at and a bank that I have never used. I first talked to a Ronnie Wilson then was sent to two other people. When I asked for the name of the company they were collecting from I was giving two different name of said company. They put me in touch with said company which was in the same office they were in because of the background noise was the same. I just want to know what if anything I can do to get these calls to stop?

Called stating his name was Ronnie Wilson, attorney. This is extremely important, do not disregard this message. If you do not return the call or have your attorney of record call, all he can do is wish you luck.

These people will call about everyday for a few weeks and then it dies off for awhile and then starts back up again. You can tell his not from the United States. He speaks in broken English.

Calling my cell phone and work. Saying I owe money for a payday loan. Also received threating email from them.

guy keeps calling and threating me over a payday loan i never took out.  he calls from 4 or 5 different numbers.  all my blocked numbers from him is full.  am tired of this how can we stop it.  i have 17 voicemails stored from him.  what can we do

this guys calls all the time using this number and 4 other numbers.  its about a payday loan.  i never took out.

Hey sent me an email, stating i owe 1000 dollars for a pay day loan, never filed for one.. i do cash my work checks at a cash land. could they have hacked there system? they call my boss saying i will be prosicuted, this is not cool.

they keep calling my work.  I have found out this is a scam.  the attorney general is investigating these people.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION      DONT GIVE THEM ANYTHING.  They are call from India.

They repeatedly call me, never state their company name or what the call is regarding, and I'm always busy when they call me so I never actually get to talk to them
