that person called me that number was given in my voicemail box WAS (347) 690-5414 and said You need call me back or you in big trouble.  I was like WTF then called me again left me voicemail message AGAIN say You need call me back you have case that against you, call me back or you get in big trouble. i was like so I called back and that person wouldnt pick up the DAMN PHONE. and He kept call and left me 6 messages and harrassing me.. its ANNOYING!! I have no DEBTS at all. WTH!

I received a call today.  I asked them for their company name, address, and phone number.  They only wanted to talk to my lawyer.  I told them I will give them my lawyer their information as well as my State Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.  "Ron Clark" then told me to F-off and I told him in a very calm voice that, "That's fine" and then hung up.  I have been getting harassing and OBSCENE phone calls from another number ever since.  I am really creeped out now.

They called me and asked for money.

I just received a call from these people, I basically went through the same thing as everyone else, they claimed that I was being brought to court the very next day for a Cyber Crime, for a past due loan that I have never had, when I questioned him on when was this done, he had no date information, he only had a very old address my date of birth and last 4 of my SSN.  He identified himself as a lawyer, and that he wanted my lawyer's information to let him know about court for the following day, I advised him that I have no need for lawyer but that I would meet him at court, so I asked him which court house are we too meet. He couldn't tell me, I started laughing so bad I almost tinkled on myself.  So not only did he not have any real information with regards to this loan that i supposedly skipped on, he couldn't even tell me what court, and didn't have the companies name that I skipped on.  I told him that I didn't to many lawyers that would go in front of a Judge with basically no information.  He couldn't even tell me what state I lived in currently.  Whats amazing is after all this I came right out and asked him, so what are you looking for money from?  He says no, so then why are you calling me... He at this point hangs up on me!  I call back and a new guy answers as Officer Shawn Paul, I advised him that I was just hung up on and if I could have his Badge #, he told me to hold on then hung up on me as well, Oh well.  I must say i did have a lil fun messing with this fake lawyer :)

I just received a call and the guy with the Hindi accent said could I help him with a lawsuit against me.  I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and hung up (can't understand him very well either).  He called 2 more times after that.  He is calling my business and home phones.  He has left threatening voice mails and fax messages as well saying what others have noted.  

What is this nonsense and how do I stop it?

We had a bankruptcy client call us stating these people were calling harrassing them about money.  I called them and it's the same thing everybody else is saying.  Thick accent... claimed his name was "Alex David" lol.  I tried explaining that if he gave me account information then he could get paid through our client's chapter 13 bankruptcy.  He said bankruptcy doesn't work on his unsecured loan... obviously they know nothing about the law.  I told him to consult his legal counsel & hung up.  No way these people are legit if they don't know anything about legal collection practices or bankruptcy.

i just got a call from these *bleeps*. they called 4 times before i answered the phone. the first guy i couldn't understand, the 2nd guy was no better, then they transferred me to some chick who claimed her name was Ashley Brown- i don't an Ashley with a thick Middle Eastern accent. She got on the phone talking about I owed some payday loan company $548 dollars and how i was gonna go to jail if i didn't pay it by tomorrow morning. If i didn't pay, the cops would come to my job and arrest me and I would have to pay $ 12,000 plus for the court proceedings. When i asked her again how much i supposedely owed, she said $ 628.00....................................... when asked to speak to a supervisor, she told me that that there was no one else, that she was the only one who could help me save my career. when i asked the name of the company i owed, she just kept saying that i would be sorry for not taking care of this today. I called the my local PD and was informed that this was not the first time they had done something like this. and i found out rather quickly that when you tell them that your lawyer will be calling them, they try to keep you on the phone- saying that you can talk to someone else. this is the biggest crock of BS ever........................... had my blood pressure sky high because I know I have not taken out a payday loan....

Yep. Same as everyone, middle eastern accent, except they were asking for my mother. I'm 18 years old, and they were asking if I knew my mother. I asked who this was, they said he was some officer from the department of Law and Investigation. I just hung up, it really freaked me out, but after a quick google search, found out it was all b***s***. But it really pissed me off, cause I want to know how they got MY information. It makes me very uncomfortable. If anyone knows what to do about these, please tell me.

they just called me claiming that i was being sued for fraud from cashnet. i called cashnet and they said they've been getting calls about this. i asked the hindi speaking guy to give me details of course i had to pay a fee for that info, and i asked what court to go to to settle this and he said he'd call me back with that info... #347-690-5414

This person has been calling for awhile at first it was for a different person and now has moves on to leaving me messages of threats that I am responsible for this person and their actions. I have asked them to quit calling and also had my local police department call. As of now they claim to be debt collectors for lawfirms. I still can't get a name of lawfirms or the business they are representing. They have changed Their number every 3 to 4 months and start again.

I just had these people leave a long detailed message stating they are police officers with very strong middle eastern accents  telling me to have my attorney contact them and wishing me well!
What is going on with this BS, and ho do they have my info

had a call from these people earlier today.  , all they said is that I will be arrested at 11 AM tomorrow if I don't pay. So I started asking THEM questions, such as name of company, location, name of law firm and lawyers' name, etc. It was obvious this was a scam, because they could not come up with legitimate names.  The person on the other end transferred me to another person who repeated the same bs. They kept stating they were from Federal Department of Investigation. If you want to get rid of them, just turn the tables and ask them questions.  Finally, I said send me the papers, and they said they did not have to. I then said this was BS, dont call again, and if they did, they would get arrested for harassment.
