I have been receiving the same call from the same number

Called claiming to be from the IRS Name Sean Miller. Definitely fake and a scam? called and the man who answered first referred to himself as Degar , then "transferred the call" ?which was not the case because I could hear him passing the phone to someone else and I heard murmurs.

My husband just got a call from this # - he asked my husband for his last four of his SS- this is all a scam - really scary- my husband reported to Police Dept. and I called the Treasury Dept,

I just got a call from the "IRS" agent - heavy Asian accent looking for my mom.  I told him my mom was dead.  He apologized for my loss but said there was a case opened against her and...  I said good luck and hung up!

That is how you treat these scum collectors.  They did this in conjunction with calling my mom and threatening to have the IRS audit her - Didn't fall for it.

I have Received a several calls from 347 757-3488 . a man with an Asian Indian accent called telling me that he is calling from the IRS dept. and needs to speak to my husband immediately.

Just received a call from 'Officer Eilliam Deegar transfered via an India call center who seems heavily determined to prove that he is genuine. I am going to try reporting them to FBI for impersonating a government agency.

I got similar phone call. Thank you all for your postings. It gave me peace of mind.

i was just dealing with this 30 min ago, they threatened to deport my parents if we don't pay 1thousand dollars within 30 min. didn't believe them but still i freaked out. they should be reported

I got a phone call a few hours ago witch freaked me out! His name was William and he said he was a IRS officer.He had a heavy accent. He gave me the pressure that I never ever had in my life. I hope this man can be arrested . Thanks God my husband Google his nr!!!!

got the call today stating he was some officer calling from the IRS and it was for my dad said he has till today to call them back and asked if there was a lawyer involved, wouldn't give me any information why and put me on hold for a couple minutes. said he has just today to call them back and thankfully i Google the number and this came out glad i i didn't give out any of my dads info . scared me though

Received a call from this number and I called it  back. The person who answered asked for my information (phone and zip) before they would confirm what organization/company they were. Then they told me it was the IRS and there was a lawsuit against my name and SSN#. I didn't buy this and challenged them with several questions. The guy was foreigner and put me on hold to consult with someone else in a different language and came back repeating the same thing and telling me I would get arrested in 2 hours. I told him to never call my number again and that I would call the real IRS to clarify any questions.
DON'T speak with them! It is an extortion call.

I received a call and they want $100 and the balance in two payment - they want me to stop pay any other of my bill and pay them first ... he name is Mike Vectie 347-757-3488 exit 875 L Davis is the other guy....

I got a call from (303) 747-7675 a few weeks ago with an email to follow with all my information and then today from a (347) 757-3488 claiming the came thing a legal matter law suit ect. how are they getting my current information adn my full SSN?

Received 2 calls on my cell phone stating that there was a serious lawsuit against my name and SS#.  stated that I needed to callthem back as soon as I get this message....Calling from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation...The person has a heavy accent.  I do not have any outstanding loans!

Received a call saying there is a legal matter against my husband. Really. If there is any legal matter against him, we would of received papers in the mail or local constable. Not planning to call back. It was Sgt. Robert Davis. This type of thing was just on my local news within the past couple of days.

Received a call at work from a criminal investigation officer from Texas sheriff office that there is a lawsuit against my Name and social security #. the odd thing that he was refusing to tell me the charged filed against me. these calls are not legit at all and i dont beleive they have any clue about anything that they call about. I assume they are looking for people who take them seriously and give out their information and send money for extension.

Received a voice mail on my WORK phone from "Sgt. Peter Black" (heavy Asian accent) telling me he was from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and there was a very serious law suit against my name and social security number and to call him at (347) 757-3488, extension 321. I almost did as I am in the middle of settling my parent's estate after their death. Glad I looked it up instead.

Received this # on id a few times.  This am, left a message.  "This is Robert Davis, of the CBI.  There is a law suit against your name and social. Please call me immediately, my extension is 321."
I don't answer these calls. It's ashame that we cannot pick up the phone anymore.
