Received a text from 541-228-4278. It said to call 360-334-2701. I called that number and was disconnected.

I got text from (541)334-2701,
but it seems same message as other people got.

Scam by text SMS message. Look up 2064279512 and lots of scam information for this number. Notice that they give start number to credit card number which is going to be the same for lots of cards as it is bank and not card related. I do not have a credit card with Wells Fargo. If in doubt call your bank or visit bank directly but do not get take in by the call number given in the text message.
"Wells Fargo Alert: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-427-9512." Message sent from 360-334-2701.

just got the same text yesterday. came from 360-334-2701 (Vancouver, WA). said to call 206-427-9512. All i could find out in a short time is that the call is from Volo Communications of Florida, which is probably a front anyway.

they are everywhere. I tried to report it to wellsfargo they didn't even want the ph. #'s that called or the one that they are asking for people to call back. I'm glad that i I don't have any of my money there.

Just called it back to see what was up and a horribly fake computer recording requests that you enter your full 16 digit account number...I do not have a wells fargo account so obviously it is digging for idiots that will actually input this info so they can swipe it.

Yeah i just got this same message in a text too and 1-206-427-9512 came out of Seattle, WA.
Text msg from 360-334-2701 stating "Wells Fargo Alert: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-427-9512.
I do not have a card with Wells Fargo.
Warning watch out for scams and its almost like 1-234-567-890 that keeps calling me i try to ignore it but been happening for months now i have my #'s on the https://www.donotcall.gov/ list if need to register.
