Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

Received a text from this number regarding my debit card ending in 4492 having been deactivated and to call them immediately at this number. I have no such card. Looked up Quimper CFCU and was redirected to the Kitsap FCU site. The phone number doesn't match.

It was a text message saying it was from Quimper F. C. U. and that a card ending in xxxx had been deactivated.  I replied saying they had the wrong number because I don't have a card like that.
