I answered the call.. It was a recorded message from Heather stating that My credit card account had a problem!!!!! I do not have a credit card. I just hung up....SCAM for sure

@tired of this... they claim that if you hit 3 you will be removed.  I hit 5 today and spoke to a rep who (reading from a script) told me it would take up to 72 hours to be removed.  I don't know if this means from this one number or from the other numbers they use for the same purpose, we shall see.  I just keep reporting them to the FCC ......

These people are driving me demented.  I'm sure I've posted here before with the same complaint.  This number has called incessantly over the past month or so, in addition to their other numbers ...914-057-8916, 212-286-9427, 718-045-2248 and many more that I haven't saved on caller ID.  They claim to offer discounts on electric bill, I usually ignore but after numerous calls this morning alone, I answered and hit 5 to speak to a rep, they obv just read from a script once people ask not to be called.. she just kept reading blah blah. it'll take up to 72 hours to remove.. blah blah and did not give me an opportunity to speak.. I tried to ask why they don't check the DNC register.  I have reported every call I've received to the FCC but the registering on the DNC list appears to be pointless.

First it was 360-322-6030 every 5-10 minutes ALL day and night!!!! never leave a message, answered it once and it was telemarketing lower your bills BS ! Now its 360-633-9026  its CONSTANT and theres no way to opt out or remove your number like the usual telemarket calls where it says "if you'd like to be removed press 9"

I get multiple calls a day from this number.  Like...6 or 7.

Has called several times  a day for weeks on both home and cell.  Also call from 212-086-9427 and 209-220-1941.  I have filed several complaints with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I've been called many times by these people each time with a different number and each time with a different company name attached to the same excuse "the ability to reduce my electric bill" problem is, I'm a college student, I live on campus, I dont HAVE an electric bill.  This smells like a scam to me is there somewhere where I can report this number/numbers?

I do not have an iPhone for testing this silent ringtone solution, but I did download the file and play it.
30 seconds of absolutely nothing ... dead silence.

BLOCKING YOUR CALLER ID DOES NOT WORK.  

Why?  Because there are several ways to unmask your number.  The most common method is to route your call through a line with ANI.  Another handy trick, laid out in a talk by Kevin Mitnick, is to prepend 900 to calls with the privacy bit set.

Either way, if you are calling anyone with even half of a clue, they will have NO trouble harvesting your number, CID blocking on or not.

Trust me.

don't call back! just ignore these call, however, if you do call back, you should block out your caller id number and you should never do what their recording instruct you to do. you may think by press 1 you will be removed from their call list? are you kidding me? you don't even know who you are dealing with to begin with, plus there's a scam going on out there right now. by you pressing whatever options, by you calling back and pressing 1 to be removed = them being able to have access to the number you are calling from all of a sudden they have control of your phone number and they can use it to call long distant international and next thing you know your phone bill statment will have all these calls you never made!!! to be on the caustion side, contact your cell/phone service provider to report this

Got a phone call from them a couple of weeks ago... How do they even get my number? Ugh, very frustrating!! I do not answer numbers I do not know but I am hopefully getting a job interview soon & I want to be able to answer the phone!

The iPhone has an option "add to existing contact".

So I have a contact titled "Scammers and Telemarketers". I gave it a distinct and unpleasant ring-tone (motorcycle).  Sadly, there's no "no ring/no vibrate" completeley silent option (bad design by Apple).

I keep adding telemarketer and scammer phone numbers to this "contact".

Got a call from 360 633 9026, so just added this number today.

Each contact can have several hone numbers:

* Cell
* Home
* Work
* Fax
* Pager
...

When one fills up, just open another, call it "Scammers and Telemarketers - $2"
rinse repeat

Never answer these scammers.  If no one ever answer them, maybe they will start thinking about doing something more productive in their sorry lives.

I receive calls from this number all the time, but they never leave a message and there is no response when attempting to return the call.

Why don't telemarketers realize that almost everybody has caller ID? We're not stupid enough to pick up, and these scammers aren't smart enough to stop calling us hundreds of times. Maybe I'll get an aerosol air horn and pick up one of these calls. One blast might fix 'em. Or maybe not.

PG&E discount?  I don't even use PG&E or live in Ca!!  I spoke to a live operator and as soon as I said I don't live in Ca they hung up on me.  This is about the 10th call I have received.  I sure wish AT&T offered an option to block certain unwanted calls!

How do we know this is a scam?  If they really wanted to "lower my electric rates," they would know mine are the lowest ever - even P G & E is impressed.

Expect lots more of these "not telemarketing" calls now that electricity's been de-regulated in Illinois.

Robocall from "Electric Savings" telling me I'm pre-authorized for a discount for my PG&E account.  Not a PG&E customer/account holder.  Can press 5 to speak to representative; did so and told him to remove my number from list. He was surprisingly nice about it.

I get calls from this number too.  I don't think ComEd would be calling at 7 pm!  I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.  I've done this before with others and the calls have stopped.  If they are indeed telemarketers they will get a fine for calling a number on the Do Not Call list.  I hope they do!

OK: this is the 3rd call in 10 days. Is DISCOUNT working with UTILITY? As per usual: a hang up. I just redid the DNC but these bozos must have found yet another loophole the a$$holes!This time they called at 6:16 CT. We're even unlisted but they STILL sneak in. UGH.

Got the same call with a recording to get discounts on Electric. Says press whatever number to get discount or press whatever if not interested. PLEASE DO NOT EVER PRESS ANY DIGITS.

Yes got the same thing.  Told them that I was listed on the Do Not Call list Request to be removed from their calling list they hung up on me.
