360 906 8022 Robert Bryant w/ "AGT" (?)  called to speak to my Acctg Mgr yesterday and CFO today.  Good thing they were both busy at the time.  Am just now reading these posts, we're very glad & appreciative of other's posts of their experiences.  Since I memorize numbers fairly easy I'll still post this number near my phone and watch for it to show up on my phone screen AND LET IT GO TO VM.

'Chris' called and mumbled something about Accounts Receivable. When asked what it was pertaining to he explained that they did collections and he wanted to speak to someone regarding that. He got exasperated when I kept asking him to expand further. In the end I told him that it wasn't the sort of thing we needed and he blurted, "But you don't even work in accounts!" I replied that I didn't think he knew what I did nor did he know what our company did and he gave up.

I have been getting calls from this number at least once a day (sometimes more) for at least two months straight.  As I usually get calls from companies looking to solicit their services, I do not pick up calls from numbers I do not recognize.

They have never left a voice message so they can only be another cold calling solicitor or a scam.

If it is COFACE, I am surprised as they are a reputable provider of credit insurance for the finance community.

Thanks to all of you who commented on this number.

COFACE called, a man asked to speak with someone in AR that handles our in house collections, I said I am not allowed to transfer that type of call. Called multiple times in the past few days, today, I said I think they had the wrong business name, and they said, "I am sorry to bother you." Haven't called again today, which is strange since I have kind of enjoyed their calls last couple days, lol.

Calls all the time. They Insist that they have always handled our collection business; I insisted that was impossible because we do it in-house. Then they continue to state the wrong name of the business, if you are a business they are probably trying to buy your past 90 day collections.

Woman called... very arrogant.  She said she was from Coface, I couldn't understand what she was saying.  She wanted my company to buy her A/R services.  I very nicely told her we did not need her services and when I refused to give her my name, she hung up and a few minutes later she called back WITH my name and hung up on me again.  Apparently she called a fellow employee, got my name, called me back and hung up just so she could "get me"!!!  Unbelievable!!!  How do these people sleep at night.

Caller id was UNKNOWN.  Caller was Bill Turner with Coface Collections.  He was very nice, called regarding an outstanding collections matter.  We had resolved the matter before his call.  Gave him all of the payment info and do not expect to hear back from him.  He was one of the nicer collection people I have dealt with.

Caller asked for my boss by first name.  The conversation was that she was a vendor of ours.  I told her my boss was not a buyer.  So she told me that they've done A/R collections for us in the past.  I told her that we do all our own and she proceeded to state that she has done business with us.... so I put her into voice mail and she hung up.

Spoke to the boss and he confirmed "not interested;" which is my que to HAVE FUN.  I just LOVE to mess with these types of callers, cause they waste soooooooooooo much of my time!  :-)

I got a call from this company on Monday afternoon asking to speak to my CFO (she was transfered from our main line). I took her name and number and asked for a message. She gave me her info and said they'd help with A/R collections. I said he wouldn't take these calls regardless and she asked to be transferred to someone that does. I told her that i'm not allowed to give that information out but i have her info so I can pass it on. I also mentioned we don't take unsolicited calls so stop calling. She promptly hung up on me. She called my boss' line again (this time direct) and when I picked up she hung up immediately. I called the receptionist to tell her not to xfer any more calls from this #. When i left work an hour later, i passed the receptionist and she told me that the girl just called again asking if they're accepting unsolicited materials at this time. The receptionist promptly responded we never did.
I thought that was the end of it but she just called again today and when I asked who it was, she responded with "oh it's just _____ from Coface calling"and said she'll call back tomorrow. I started saying she can try but she's not going to get through and she hung up already. I just called back the number, got xferred to the manager (Kevin Newman) and asked him to remove my CFO's number from his database as well as inform him of how unprofessional and rude that girl is.
The girl calling is named Niani and her DD is 360-906-8022 ext 229. Apparently she doesn't know the meaning of NO and NOT INTERESTED so should she call, have a ball or give her a piece of your mind!

Just got a call from this number, asking who handles our collections. We used to use them to handle our collections but decided a few years we could do a better job in-house. Seems like they're calling old accounts trying to get them to come back.

Worst call I had in a long time.Very rude male caller asked for owner of company and refused to let me know what his "credit question" was. When I said I was the owner's assistant, he hung up on me. I called the number back and another company name was mentioned. The lady said it is financial services. I asked her to take us off the calling list - she said she would try, but hung up on me before I could even mention our company name. Clearly, this is bogus.

A Kay Christiano (and when you ask her to spell her name she will spell to you as if you are mentally challenged) called work for business asking for controller and would not leave message or call back number.  I tried several times to get a message and call back number and she refused.  Wanted all sorts of info I wouldn't give her.  I told her I was the only one here and she asked me how did I get left there alone.  SURPRISE!  I can do my big girl job without someone holding my hand stupid!  She has so wonderfully promised to call back - Can't wait!

A woman just called into our office, asked for the CFO & I said he's out of office. Then wanted to leave a voice mail message and I explained I couldn't transfer that type of call because his phone is on Do Not Disturb.  Talk about going from reasonably polite to openly hostile - she asked me who I was and it i was alwys that helpfully rude.  I responede I am rude to the  degree my caller is rude. She responds "I have been nothing but pleasant" and I pointed out the fact she hadn't bothered to respond to my inquiry of her name or her firm's name.  She then started to tell me I'd personally screwed our company's chance to be paid a huge sum of money. I just hung up the phone and will keep track of their phone# as a nuisance caller

I got a call from these people and they first wanted to know who I was.  When I asked them if they knew, they didn't respond, but then went into how I owed them some money from a copy that went bankrupt six years ago.  Since I never dealt with that company I told them to stop calling.  But the next, day they called again.  I just put them on a block with my phone carrier.

Having had worked for a bank for many years including handling large workouts, it is apparent that someone bought a list of creditors out of bankruptcy and put these guys on commission to collect anything thing that they can.

If the economy weren't doing so badly, they probably would be dialing for a policeman's charity fund, or some religious group for donations, or calling everyone to apply for credit cards.

They just called twice...the 1st time they asked for the CFO & I said I can't transfer those types of calls. The SAME person calls back, asks for me & I said "Didn't you just call?! I already told you I can't transfer solicitor or sales calls!" What an idiot!

They were looking for Business.

A/R usually get calls from Debt Collectors asking for accounts that are over 90 days. Nothing wrong with that, but we usually do everything in house. According to one of our A/R managers it's not oftern that we do turn over accounts to collectors.

I received a call yesterday from a man wanting to know if I still sold group dental insurance (I'm an insurance broker).  I responded yes, to which he said he didn't have any time to discuss it with me, but he wanted to email me his company profile to get an accurate quote.  I spelled out my email address twice and he spent a couple more minutes repeating it back and still not getting it.   Odd for someone who was too busy to talk and if they had my business card, should have already had the info.  He also didn't know how to pronounce my name and if he had been a client referral, should have been able to.  I haven't lived in the area for almost a year, nor am I any longer part of the chamber or business community.

After getting an odd feeling ever since hanging up the phone yesterday with him (he never said his name or sent any email), I called back this morning and found out it was a collection agency.  So exactly what was the call about?

I received a call from a man asking to speak to the person in charge of employees having a debt collected.  The phone number came up as unknown.  I asked what the purpose of his call was & he just went on about my employees.  He then finally hung up because I wouldn't tell him anything.
I only wish these kind of people would get a real job & leave me alone!
