I got a text from this number an I don't know who this is that why I don't buy things on here this people need to have there fingers cut off for doing things like this

The text had the name of the person that owned the number prior to me. The reason I know her name is because she receives calls from bill collectors. I hope replying to the text will not cause issues. I received the same text. Replied "stop", then looked into 800notes & read the above information. Dang it. I wonder if I need to call my cell provider.

I got the same txt. I bet they want us to ad them so they can hack us. Don't do it.

Got a text from textgirl265 asking me to add her on yahoo messenger.

Got a text saying Hi Jeff!  I replied with Hi....who is this?   I have no idea who this is and I checked here to check the number and now concerned after reading a few of the other replies.

Se exact thing "a text and same message".
It's a fisher for info out of Florida. Do not respond even with a "who's this".
They track it and get info out of your phone
Just like computer.

Same as above. I got a call and when I responded "who is this" they replied back "lol, if you want to know, u got to add me on yahool msnger. my name is txtchikj516".I responded back and said please do not text me again.

I also got a text from this number saying "hola John?"  Didn't respond after reading Lori's post below.

Text me on my cell phone and said hi Lori?
I responded yes who is this
Got a response of hahaha if u wanna know who this is you got to add me on yahoo msger, my name is txtiegirly7
