Called me at work..I told him I was at work, but he then asked if he could ask me a few questions. I told him, "no". What ever happened to the do not call list????? Called back 5 minutes later to complain and I got a recorded message saying that they were closed!

I received a call Friday 9/13 at 8:52 am. No message. When I got to work I called back from a blocked line. Answering machine saying it was a home security company. They called my cell phone! The hours they say on the recording down match when the call came in. Something is not right here!!

Just received a call Fri, Aug 16 - about 9 AM. Same as Herb above (security system). He asked if I would like a free estimate of my home for a security system - something like that. I'm thinking the estimate is to see how they can break in later. I asked how he obtained my number. He said a "friend" of mine gave it to him. Apparently the Do No Call Registry does not work.

A live person said "Hi, my name is Dan from GE Home Security, how are you today?" and I hung up. I'm on the Do Not Call registry.
