Called on 6/14 at 2:39PM - we didn't answer and no message was left.

Received a call from this number with an individual calling himself William Smith and stating he is calling from a U.S Anti-Scam Department and that he was contacting me due to some funds being removed from my banking account fraudulently and they were going to refund the money and $25,000.00 which is the insured account amount. He quoted my name, phone number and even my mailing address.  He asked what Bank account I would like to have the money transferred to and asked for the Routing information from the bottom of my checks. When I told him I would not give him the information over the phone and suggested he get in touch with my bank and let them contact me he got irritated and told me that they were trying to return money to me. When I told him if he was part of an Anti-Scam department then he shouldn't be surprised why I would not give him any information he got nasty and asked did I want my money or not.  When I responded to him in the same way the conversation ended with both of us Hanging up on each other.

Is this a man about 5'10", 140 pounds, about 30 years old, possibly from Guanajuato?  I received call from that number on 6/9/07 & my son worked with a Mexican man with an accent in 2004-2005?  He never picked up his last check.  What is your ex's first name?

Called my wife in the afternoon, said they are talking regarding tax return. Asked her, how we are going to spend the money. Asked for bank account information. We didnt give any,...

Calls almost every day but never leaves a message

CALLED AT 11PM. THOUGHT IT WAS EMERGENCY..NO ONE THERE WHAT IS THIS?

Call from man with thick accent (India?) trying to confirm my bank and bank account number.  He wanted to deposit an amount of $500.00 or more PLUS an additional $2,500 for insurance adjustment based on some mystery "scam" we were supposedly victims of.  He tried backing out of the process he described when I nailed him on it.  Then, when I called back to check who would answer, there is a prompt for three different languages that ask for your card number.

number appeared on caller ID, as curious answered phone..a VG friend from Bflo NY answered phone..not her number. How did this happen?

just got a call from a man at 401-314-3522  - heavy middle-eastern accent- my husband answered - asked for me by name.  when I got on there, he said that he wanted to 'f' me and have sex with me - so I handed the phone back to my husband - then the called said that he was outside my house  and told my husband that I was his girlfriend and a bunch of other crap.  what a creep.

caller left message saying he needed to talk to me and he called me by name. He had a foreign accent--sounded Indian. He has called before as well. I have not returned the call.

We have had several calls from this number.  I finally answered it one day.  A man said "hello and a fine evening to you".  I said "not really, it's only 1 p.m here".  He got really mad and said repeatedly "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" in a sarcastic tone. I hung up and he tried calling right back - like I'm going to answer!

How do you go straight to the FCC?  Is there a phone number?  I have also reported all calls to the National Do Not Call Registry.  However, I believe it doesn't really follow up ... so what good is it?

They claimed they were calling for "Sprint" and when I said I was on the national Do Not Call list, he said that wasn't possible.  I replied that I had been on it for over two years and he hung up.

Yes.  You should never give your personal information out over the phone.

This numbers comes up on my work phone at least once a day, usually 2-3 times.  I never answer it.  They never leave a message.  I never answer my work phone unless I recognize the number because I get dozens of unwanted solicitation calls every day.  Maybe I'll have to pick up next time to see if I can get them to stop calling and see who they say they are.

Call came in at 3:05am and since we have called ID I told everyone in the house not to answer it (yes, they woke up everyone)just let them leave a message and when I checked the message - it was a busy tone!!  I reported the call to www.donnotcall.gov, but didn't know what elese to do until I read an article in the Daily Breeze newspaper, which lead me to this site.

Caller has an Indian accent; puported to be an on-line pharmacy I've requested they do not call, and have told them I was on the DNC registry to no avail.

I get multiple calls a day from this number...you can hear some voices in the background (calling center obviously) and then some stupid Indian say "HALLO" and hangs up

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM...Don't waste your time. This time they said they were a fraud protection agency that had recovered money taken from a family member's checking account.  DON'T give ANY information about yourself OR any other of your family members.  Just insist they give their own address and telephone # so you can call THEM back.  My story is identical to all the ones you read here.  They are stupid enough to continue calling 3 days in a row.  DO NOT CONFIRM/VERYIFY, OR EVEN WORSE, BE IGNORANT ENOUGH TO VOLUNTEER ANY INFO ABOUT ANYONE YOU KNOW TO THESE CALLERS OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR CALLERS!!!

The unwanted caller from 401 314 3522 keeps bothering us.  How can we stop?

Got a sales call from a guy with an Indian accent at this number. I told him he was a terrible salesman and he started cursing me out.  I hung up and he called back to continue his shirade..

I just got a sales call from some Indian at this number.. I told him it was a terrible sales pitch and he got completely obscene and vulgar.  I hung up on him and he called me back to continue swearing and calling me names..

Time to find out where these guys are and do everything I can to stick it in their a***s

I get a call from 401-314-3522 at 7 every morning. I answer and its a guy with an Indian accent. He asks me by my first name telling me about qoutations health insurance life, and education. The guy becomes a total a***ole when you tell him you don't want any of the stuff.

i HAVE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME ALSO. THE GUY CALLS AT 7 IN THE MORNING EVERYDAY.  I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T WANT HIM CALLING ANYMORE, AND GOT RUDE WITH ME. MY MOM GOT ON THE PHONE AND YELLED OUT HIM. HE TOLD HER HE WOULDN'T CALL ANYMORE. TEN SECONDS LATER HE CALLS AGAIN BUT HANGS UP.

Have gotten calls on my cell phone from 401-324-3522. It was a man who asked for me by my full Name. He sound like he's  in India.

I got this same number on my caller ID from this #: 401-314-3522 but couldn't get to the phone in time to answer.  I called it back thinking it was someone I knew trying to get in touch with me, but all I got was a recorded message saying select option "2" for English, and when I pressed 2 the message said "Please enter your card number".

these ppl called the 1st day and said they were from some network..and then 2 days later called and said they were from some processing company...DONOT GIVE OUT URE PERSONAL INFORMATION WHT SO EVER!!!! we made that mistake..dont do the same!!!!

Same thing happened to me. I joined the National Do Not Call List and after the 10 call from these people (I reported each one to the Do Not Call List) I then went to the FCC. Spoke with a great person, explained problem and no more calls. But then a week later a new number started to call, so I went straight to the FCC this time.
