I've been getting more and more calls like this on my cell phone. I just went to the National Do Not CAll Registry and signed up. I hope it works!

Well my brother got a call from this number, and according to the recorder we were automatically put in the DO NOT CALL list, hopefully the DO NOT CALL anymore, it's anoying. And is not just Sprint that sold your numbers to them, we have T-Mobile, which means they sold them too.

I got a call on my work phone from 401-336-2989.  I didn't recognize the number or name on Caller ID, so I didn't answer it.

Got a call to try to extend my warranty on a vehicle.  This is a business line - with no cars! Freakin people.

Got this phone call.  Did not pick up. Tried calling back on a landline- busy signal

I just missed a call from this number.  They have called me several times regarding a car warranty.  Since my car is 10 years old, I'm pretty sure the warranty is expired!  Wierd scam.

I got a call from this number and it was a vehical warrenty expiration. they always answer with "what is the make and model of your vehical" and I answered with "that is none of your business" and before i could get to the next sentance (which was who are you and why are you calling me) they hung up on me.  I hate these people.

Something about a extended car warranty.  I answered the call and the lady was insistent on talking not giving me a chance.  I asked her to take me off the list and she hung up on me.  To make matters worse, the solicitors called my cell phone!  Isn't that illegal?

why the hell did sprint sell our cell phine numbers to a company that wants to sell a vehicle extended warranty.

I received MANY spam calls from the same recorder. Sometime there is no caller ID, sometime I see the caller ID. One of the caller ID is this 1-401-336-2989 number. They are calling my cellphone, which annoys me so much. When I tried to call back the spam number, there is only a brief message "Your number has been taken out of the list. Thank you". Does anyone has a research about who these spammers are and where they live. I will take the justice in my hand and do them revenge for spamming my cellphone, sometime many times in one day, while I am driving.

Looked up number on internet, read other comments - glad I missed the call.

this is another scam call,  I have been getting these for about six months now.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list but it doesn't matter.  These calls started when I put my number in a online sweepstakes (heard on my local radio).  BIG MISTAKE!!

Received unwanted call. not sure who it was as only left caller id.

But I have received several of these car warrenty recorded messages in the last 60 days

I did not answer the call; when I called the number 1-401-336-2989 back, I was automatically put on the DNC list, according to the recording...

This was a recording saying that this was my last chance to talk to someone about my car warrenty before it expires. Well mine expired already....total scam!
