this number keeps calling time after time. tracked it down to York NE but it still continues to call. Not sure what they want as we don't answer it.

Call and do not leave message.  Try to call back and get message that the telephone number is not in service.  Checked on-line and found many many complaints reporting the same thing.

3 Calls in the last 4 days from this number about a free cruise. After telling them to remove me from their list I am getting blocked caller ID calls from them.

Maybe now I will just sit on the phone and waste their time.

Called last night at 11:00 PM, told her not to call again, she called again 30 minutes later... aren't there rules in place for these people? Why is it the only recourse we have is to complain on-line?

Got a call from this number and it was terrible quality, hard to hear, and the guy had a strong accent, probably calling from India.  He was pushing a free cruise.  I told him no thank you and immediately he hung up.

Got a call last night from this number, they did not leave any message. Have seen this number show up in my missed calls list before.

unwanted call

Got a call from this number, no message and they did not answer, how do we stop these unwanted calls?

A woman called my home then my cell, said she was in Mt. View(I'm SJ) and wanted to sell something. Advised her I was on ncl, and she hung up. Caller Id showed she was in NE. not Mt. View.

We received a call today from above number and the caller had a very thick Indian or Fillopino accent.She said she was from ABB Industries and when I asked her to repeate her company's name she got really short with me and told ME that I was rude!!!!Scam artist-and a really bad one,too.

I got a call just now on my cell, and they said they were from "Derrick Barns" or something like that...sounded like far away in China or such.  Report these people to the FCC.  Go here to file a complaint

I told her I was on the Do Not Call list.  The more we file with the FCC...the more they may stop them.  Geez....annoying yes.

This woman offered me a free trip and then i said wrong number and she said no right number and i said no whats my name and she was like uhhhhh and i said no dont call me ever again or ill report you and she said no need for a rude tone and i said then stop calling me and then i hung up and shes called back at least 4 times after that and everytime i call her back it says the number you have reached is out of service or just keeps ringing...

Seems kind dumb for someone to call u wanting to sell u things, but then leave no message or valid call back number.  I know if I was a salesman that I would want my customers to be able to get with me.  How else are u going to sell stuff and make money?!

After having recieved several calls from this number in recent weeks to my cell phone, usually at odd hours, I finally answered to see who was calling me at 11pm on a Sunday night. Accented lady saying she was with "Direct Buy" and that "this is not a sales call". I had been selected to win a trip to the Bahamas or somewhere (lucky me). I told her at what hour she was calling me, that I wasn't interested and asked to be taken off their calling list. She apologized and agreed to do so. We'll see if it works. Another posting said that their DNC-list registration had expired and I'm sure it's been more than 5 years since I last put my number on the list. Just re-registered and hoping that makes a difference...though if these people are operating offshore I'm doubtful they are playing by the rules...especially since cell phones are supposed to be off limits to telemarketers regardless (I thought).

Picked it up. Called my cell. Was some hard to understand accented man. Couldn't make it out too well since I was on the bus, but heard something about my phone number being a selected number for something having to do with a 50 thousand dollar prize maybe? I don't know but I said I was alright thank you and he said okay thank you have a good day. Was probably a survey.

They did not leave a message. When I returned the call 1 minute later, it was "out of service." Could have been a sales call?

I got a call from this number twice now! Today I answered he told me his name was josh from direct life. Sounds like some teenage boy trying to "hide" his "true" voice. Told me he got my number from my dad. Two things my dad doesn't give out my number and when I asked him (dad) about it he had no idea what I was talking about!

So how do you make that your voice mail? This number called my cell phone. Is there a way to record a WAV or MP3 and upload it to your wireless account?

Got a call from a foreign woman who asked for the "owner of this phone." I told her I couldn't understand her, and she hung up.

The whistle doesn't do squat. Their phones are volume controlled. It won't hurt their ears. Hang up quickly and report them to donotcall.gov and then get on the website of your phone provider and block their calls.

You on DNC list? Why do they call your number? Because donotcall.gov is a joke. They don't do squat.
I think I reported some outfit in WA state about 3 times and they still are calling. Ergh!

They aren't going to read your post and take you off their list...for heavens sakes.  Get on donotcall.gov and report them.

Got a call from this number on my Kindle text.  Googled it and seen all these comments/complaints. WTF hasn't any1 done anything about this yet?!

this phone number is not Carlsbad, California as I know this area.

Don't call list worked for me for a number of years. Right when it expired, I started getting calls from numbers like this.
