Just got a call from this number. Automated voice claiming "This is the second attempt to reach you, your warranty is about to expire." I have 4 general/6 powertrain left on my car, decided to hit #1 anyway. Someone answers after a prompt. She starts off about warranties. I ask her if this is either Nissan Motor Corporation (I drive an Infiniti) and/or Cochrane Infiniti (my dealer). She starts saying about how no, but this is a special warranty that works with any certified dealer and blah blah blah. I wish these people could be blocked. They won't leave voicemails, though.

I never answer when I don't recognize the number (research it first).  Now I am glad I did.  Thanks for the warning, everyone.

I have a prepaid boost phone, and this number calls within three days everytime I add minutes to my phone....

called my sons cell phone. He's 12. He didn't answer.

This call is a spam. Just ignore it. If you receice too many of them, just change the phone number. No other way you can stop them.

Trying to 'renew' my vehicle warranty.  I don't even own a vehicle.  Tried the opt out.  It doesn't work.

Now they just hang up on me when they call.

rec'd call on cell from this # today.  recording for car warranty. option #2 to opt out of calls.  will see if it actually works.

Received a call today (March 27th 12:17 pm) on my cell from this number:"402-982-0438". Yet ANOTHER spam call.

idk who called me form this # i answer and no ones ses aneything so idk..

I just got a call from 402-982-0438, i didnt know who it was so i didnt answer, when i did a search it said the number was from Omaha, Ne... i dont even know anyone from there

These people call me about once every 2 weeks.  Don't own a car but they sure do want me to renew my warranty. You figure it out.  Thank God for caller ID, I just laugh when i see the number, and say well time to renew the warranty on the car I don't own.

Ahhhh I got one today. Stupid!

STOP CALLING

I started getting this crap after I signed up with Capitol One.

My boyfriend got a call yesterday from a company claiming to be responsible for his car warranty, but it is not the company he actually has his warranty with. They called me today on my cell, I didn't answer and they left no message.

well folks, it's finally happened! Companies are now ALLOWED to call you on your cell phone.  Yes, you will have to sign up for Do Not Call list.   However, I was just informed by a co-worker that they are working on legislation on prohibiting these kind of calls to cell phones.

my 87 year old grandmother was harrassed by these people. just terrible. They had two people on the phone trying to intimidate her to send them a check.

I have had two calls from this number.  Both calls came when I was unable to answer and there was no message.
