Called my phone and said to press 1 to update my vehicles warranty. I pressed 1 and it told me to hold. I ended up hanging up,,,didn't want to waste my minutes!

called my cell, voice message said WARRENTY--it is not to late to extend you car warranty . . .

Local call so I didn't think it was a junk call, but it's another telemarketer. Will ignore these in the future.

I  got same  call  but didn't   pick up,   i am  glad  now.

Called my cell. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number and from these comments I'm glad I didn't.

I have now gotten 2 seperate calls on 2 seperate days from this number.  I did not pick up either time and did not get a message so I did not think much of it.  I figured when in doubt, googe it.....here I am.  Thanks people at least I know not to pick up now!  Gotta love the spam calls that have now gotten to our cell phones!!!!

I got a call from 402-982-0602 as well, and wasted a couple of my pay as you go minutes. At lest when I googled the number I found this page! And I do have family in Nebraska who it might have been from about an elderly relative.

These are obviously scam calls, I don't know how and why they got their hands on my phone number but this has to stop.

They called my fiance's phone looking for me and he told them wrong number. Than few hours later they called my phone and offered me a car warranty when we don't even own a car!!!

They call me everyday! I'm sick of it! I don't own a dang car or a truck or any type of motor vehicle.

i too just rcvd phone call, they said they wanted to give me premium offers on the warranty on my car....hmm..... i hung up.

JUST got off the phone with them and called them out in their BS. I was placed on their "do not call list."

Got a call on my cell phone about a "second notice" or "final notice" on a car warranty.  Tried calling back to no avail.  How do we get these people blocked?

This is what I believe to be a call from a scam artist about car warranty. Since I don't own a car, and the truck I do own is well out of warranty, it must be a scam, as decribed on local TV a couple of weeks ago.

Have called me twice today, I didn't answer.  No message.

It would be pretty funny if they want me to "update my vehicle's warranty", as I don't own a car at all.

Hello these people Great American Readers are responsible and they told my brother who acted as me that  I had been entered from one of my credit cards, and wanted me to verify the numbers on them, and said they didn't need the 3 number security code on the back, because I wasn't making a purchase today. They also knew the first few numbers of my cards, so he thought it was real and "verified" the credit card number of my cards to buy my mom a gift for xmas with the gift certificate.  The number they call to was my cell phone. they said to my brother they will send magazines for under $4 a week but instead of charging my card $4 a week they will charge monthly.  So he fell for it and he's only 16 years old and did a verbal commitment. Now I cancelled my credit card and notified my bank that they are a fraud and got my money back.  Now I'm getting phone calls with huge harassments and telling me I will go to collections and they are the worst people I had ever dealed with.  Please help my cell is 570-878-8865 or email me at runningback1128@aol.com

I am receiving robo calls from the same area code on my cell and that too without authorization. The number that called me is 402 982 0579 and on telling them that it is a federal offence they said it is not and put the phone down.
Plus the call was deceptive as it says they are calling from my credit card company on the robot part of the call.

I think there should be a law against using an auto dialer continuously and leaving a pre-recorded message.

Two calls today on my cell phone about "car warantee about to expire"

I received my 48th call from these people and am ready to take legal action against them. When I told them I would be contacting my lawyer the lady said "Do whatever you want".

Call to my cell phone identified as being from 402-982-0602 to sell me auto extended warranty. They asked me to confirm the number they called.  I told them that was wrong and gave them the number of the FBI office. I told them that my car was a 1999, but even though they don't usually cover cars that old they said they could cover mine because it is in good condition. They gave me some price quotes. I probably could have wasted more of their time if I would have acted like I was really writing them down and asking them to repeat the numbers, but I didn't bother. After I gave him the number of my "VISA" from a row starting with 4 from my table of random numbers they said there is a problem that the number is invalid. I said I'd check again, and hit the disconnect button.
A few seconds later there was incoming call identified as being from 800-913-4558. I hit answer button but caller hung up.

Verizon Private Cell Phone.

I have received calls from this number for about six times this week and I did not pick up. I really do not understand where they get my cell phone number from which is supposed to be protected for privacy and unnecessary charges to my bill.

I hope we coud find this person(s) or company making such calls to people's private cell numbers.

Here are your options:
1. Call you cell phone company to block this number. This is a free service.
2. Report to FTC by going to ftc.gov

The calling party keeps changing their call number, so you will have to keep blocking them everytime.

there have been several telemarketeers calling in the last m,onth an if we do not see a caller id or known number we will not answer the call/its just very anoying

I just got 6 calls within 30 minutes from this number. I keep getting calls on my home phone as well. I do not answer anything outside of my area code unless I know the number. I am in Southern Oregon.
