I have been told that this number comes up as my caller ID when I call people sometimes. This is not my number. Telus is stumped as to why this happens. Also I get voice mail that is not a message, but a complete phone call between 2 unknown persons from when they dial the number, to ringing until some answers until they finish their phone call.

I get calls from this number daily, and all times of the day or night. The messages that are left sound like water flushing.

Just received this. A message told me that 'their' records indicate my number is a fax machine. It asks I press 2 to be removed or * on my fax machine I don't have.
Mistake or scam, they're blocked...

I WORK FOR AN INTERNET CATALOG COMPANY THAT HANDLES INCOMING CALLS. I GOT A CALL FROM 403-540-8000 AND THE CUSTOMER I WAS SPEAKING WITH STATED THAT HE WAS CALLING FROM HIS CELLPHONE WHICH IS LOCATED FROM A 587 AREA CODE IN ALBERTA CANADA.

403-540-8000 is the main trunk outgoing number for anyone using TELUS/AGT in Calgary Area on a Cellular.
When you call a non Telus toll free number from a TELUS cell phone or a bell mobile phone on telus network, TELUS does not sound our the caller id as your cell number but that number instead.

So weird, I called back this 1-800 number that had been calling me non-stop (from my bank) so I could get my number removed. The computer starts reading off this number 403-540-8000 and says is this the number you want removed... but this isn't my number, not even close. I've never even seen this number...
