they left a msg on my phone. sounded like "you lied to me" I was like wtf I live with my brother and my boyfriend and my mind started going lol glad to hear it's just a bs #.

I just got a call from 403-545-5455 and they don't  speak.  Then I tried to call back, it says no such no., so they are calling from a diff no.

Calls and hangs up, most annoying and obviously caller does not understand Time Zones

Got a similar call from buddy who claims that they can lower interest rates on your credit cards. I phoned VISA and MC and they said no one is able to negotiate a lower interest rate except the cardholder and it has to be directly with VISA or MC NOT a third party....hang up on the scumbags!!!

Take a close look at the number ..... 545-5455. How likely is it than anyone could be so lucky as to get an easy number like that? Most unlikely!

We used to get spoofed numbers that were so obvious that no one would pick up unless totally at sea. These were typically 111-111-1111. Of course, these criminals pay attention to what we say and what appears on police sites and media. Once they figured out that the scam was up, they started spoofing numbers that looked more real. The cretins still don't have though, do they? The last call I got like this (a few days ago) was 359-3559 (also unlikely).

Bottom line here is if they are spoofing, they are up to no good. Treat accordingly.

P.S. to any scammers who are reading this, the offer of a free lobotomy still stands. Come one come all.

further to my message above - the last time I got one of these calls (a few days ago) it was from 204- 359-3559.....right, same sort of improbable phone number as 545-5455. This time, apparently, the call came from Manitoba, Canada (but not really because it was spoofed). These scum must stay up nights thinking of ways to outsmart us - they think we are all stupid. If we don't take their scam up from one number, well, let's just try another number because the doh-doh public will fall for it then. Not!!

The number is clearly spoofed (meaning it comes from another number and is routed through another - potentially false number. It is not quite so obvious as when you get a call from area code 111- 111-1111 - but basically the same thing - scum trying to take advantage of people). Who knows where the call actually originates from. The fact they are spoofing it tells you they are up to no good. Don't answer (or pick up phone and immediately hit #### - which gives a signal like your number is not in service)..

I,too received a call from this #,missed it,no message,dialed back-# not in service recording. It even messed up my phone for about 30min. by displaying lines on screen & I could not call out. Strange wouldn't you think.

I received a missed call from this number too, no message.  Dialed back using the call display.  I received a "number is not in service" recording.   Based on the comments above, it doesn't sound like a telemarketing service.  Odd.

I got a called today.. said Hello? no one spoke on the other end

I just recieved a call from them too. They said nothing, they just sat there on the line. I went on mute and it still took them a minute before hanging up. I googled the number to see if it was a business or someone I knew and this site came up! Thanks for the info!

I waited for the telemarketer to come on and told him politely to remove me from his call list as I am on the nation wide do not call list.

he replied with "Whatever"

I then requested to speak with his manager and he told me he IS the manager and then became very rude to me.

Nonstop calls from this number and they hang up when asked to remove my number from call list....totally unwanted and cant stand being harassed!!!!!
