One other thing.  Speaking for myself.  I haven't bought any new cars in a good many years. Last one I bought is close to 20 years ago... a new/used car at a local (in town) dealership.  Calls from this or the newer number I posted wouldn't apply to me at all!

There'd be no need for someone out of Canada to call and remind me my 'maintenance' on my car is due (especially when they claim I got it from them or who ever uses their 'call center')!

Folks. It's yet another Caller ID spoofed number, probably not from Calgary, Alberta, Canada either. And certainly not anything to do with anyones 'maintenance' or any auto they bought!

New number to watch for (and avoid) : 403-648-4503.

I'm in Califirnia (Pacific Time Zone) they placed their annoying call (I didn't pick up on) at 7:13 PM! Alberta time would mean that was 'placed' by them at 8:13 PM! What business especially legitimate is open at those hours? None! Just one more BS bunch of sick scammers for us to deal with!!!

Just got a call from 403-648-9192. since the area code did not seem familiar I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I have no credit cards and I don't have a new car. Well for sure I was not being contacted by Mazda or any other dealership. I don't trust it.

2 calls from this number - ignoing them as whatever device it is has called my number previously. It's a nuisance call at best!

Got a call from this number. Left a message. It was from the car dealership to wish me a happy anniversary on my car purchase. I believe I saw this number is out of Canada. Well me and the car dealership are in VA. They did leave an opt out number to call. Its worth a shot...866-248-9170

Call from Suzuki dealer reminding me that I was due for an oil change.

Just got a call on my cell from this number, went to voicemail but there was no message. I searched the number because of the 403 area code, couldn't imagine who it was...looks like it could be a telemarketing call or scam??

Received call from 403-648-9192 today.  Caller ID just reads 'Alberta Call'.  I never answer my phone so I played back the message.  It's from my Jeep Dealer reminding me to come in for service.  With all the unemployed here, you have to outsource to Canada.

called me today so i called my dealership i bought my car, funny thing that dealership cannot work on my type of car since i have a mazda rx8. My dealership told me it was a scam and they want to sell me an extended warrenty and they have no assoc with them. im on a do not call list so i reported the number so it will be investigated. hopefully the calls will stop. ive opted out of the calls a few weeks ago.

I just got a call from this number - ID said "Your Car Dealer" - I ignored it and let it go to voicemail. There was a message a few seconds later. Looks like this is a legit automated messaging centre for car dealerships to place automated calls to clients to remind them that service may be due on their car. It was from my dealership...so it appears legit.

Got a call today from this number and it was from our Honda dealership saying we were due for service.

didnt answer but this blog tells me my hunch was good?

living in montreal got a call from this # on my cell phoned back on a land line nothing but silence then the call ended. STRANGE

It was a call from a car dealer telling me I needed to bring my car in for a check up??? Although my phone registered the number as coming from the Alberta Canada area

its a scam.  do not answer.  if you have ever given your telephone #  to any car dealership, new or used, your info is sold to this telemarketing company.   DO NOT ANSWER

There is a huge call center in Alberta Canada.  I know that they handle Comcast Cable customers, among many other companies.  This might be that call center...

I answer and get no response either.

It's just a call centre... I get calls reminding me to being my Kia in for service.

I did just buy a 2010 jeep grand Cherokee from dwayne lane dodge in everett, wa, and yes it is due for servicing in a few hundred miles...  So yes, now the call makes sense.  Just wish they would have left a message instead of me saying hello a few times before my disconnect.

But honestly, outsourcing? What the h€££?

Identify yourself openly

Suspect it's just follow-up survey from a recent servicing of my Mazda in Kirkland, WA. They have you sign a thing stating that you'll probably get a call (or they inform you somehow, maybe it was just on the receipt) and I typically do get a call a few days after going.

I got a call few moments ago but I didn't answer it.  I let it go to voice mail.  This appears to be legit because I did go to the car dealer for previous service.  I believe the car dealer use this service from another provice to remind the owner their vehicle service is due.  Maybe it's cheaper to hire someone to call from the dealer.

They called me. I picked up. they Did not say a word. I live in Mississauga.
