I answered my ringing telephone to hear silence at first then a recorded message that instructed me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to someone ...I heard another recorded message instructing me to pulse yet another #...3 if my memory serves me finally I heard a person I asked for her name and where... her answer was  "...based in US of A but could handle Canadian matters..." then I experienced a dead connection

Sick of getting calls from this number-always leaving the same threatening voicemal message as described in the previous threads.

THIS IDIOT DOESN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE BUT PROBABLY DESERVES TO DIE. REPORT THE PIG. IF IT HAS SOMETHING TO SAY IT SHOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE.

I just got a partial threatening message credit card debt and account closure from the phone number 403-753-3221. I am not in arrears with any credit card and from previous comments this must be a scam. I hope these people are closed down for being the lowlifes that they are!

No, they haven't.  Went on about reducing credit card debt; you must owe at least $5000... "To speak to a live agent press 1."  I did, to ask to be removed.  Immediately got another recording, "You cannot be removed from the calling list by speaking to an agent.  To be removed from the list, press 2."  I did.  The call immediately disconnected.
Buying a Telezapper -- $30 or less on eBay -- will cut down the amount of computer-dialed calls, from certain types of machinery.  It fools their computer into thinking your # is disconnected.  It won't work on all calls, but it should reduce the number you get.  It has for us.  Worth the investment.  All you have to do is explain to your legitimate callers why your phone beeps when you pick up.
(It did not work for this # as I see from page 1 that I posted when they called us in May.  However, it's still worth buying because it will cut down on these kinds of calls.  I haven't won a cruise in Florida in ages!! ;)

Just got a call, said this was last chance to reduce my credit card interest rates after several attempts to notify me by mail.... press 1.   Yeah right!  Obviously a scam a legit company would identify themselves.

No message left for me. Sounds like prank. Calling me quick often, bi-weekly. Who is this caller? Please stop it.

Found a call from this number on my phone 2 days in a row now.

This number  called and left a message on my machine and said that they have been trying to get ahold of me to help with my credit card debt, they even said they have been polite about it and that i should reply soon or they will not be able to help me with my debt,  this is amazing since i dont even own one credit card.

Got a call from these "Twits" today..I am on the "non'call" list.. what a joke..Oh! well, guess they haven't got a life......feel sorry for them.

Caller ID showed call from 403-753-3221 which appears to be unlisted.   We are on the do not call list but this call seems to have bypassed that.

Called number back and "this number is not in service" was the result.

Call at least 3 times a week from 403-753-3221............I call that # and I get a recorded message say that # is not in use....weird!

got a call from this number and the person just listened and then hung up.

I found that call very upsetting : "after having sent you several curtesy notices" etc.  I had received none, of course, and thought something was wrong with my credit card.  I spoke with the agent, asking him what the hell it was all about.  He mumbled something about an advocacy something.  I told him to take my name off their list.  I also subscribe to the CRTC's no call list but what's the use ?  Is it there only to make you feel better ?

Message on the edge of threatening - telephone police and informed to call PhoneBusters - will do so during their open hours tomorrow.  Apparently many are calling in about this automated generated phone call - 5x on my phone.  Hope you can do something about this.

Got a threatening call from this number saying I had been repeatedly warned to pay my credit card. Then offered to help with credit card services if I "press 1 now". Of course I hung up. Some scam afoot here!

Ditto about the credit cards & consolidating your debt - "final courtesy" notice!  Funny - I've got this EXACT same recording from 2 different numbers today - too bad it wasn't the FINAL one!  I got another one a couple of weeks ago & they left a msg on my machine.

I recognized all calls from Florida area code and don't answer. Now it's an area Code from Alberta and I know people there. Same crap as before but if there is a pause after your "Hello", Hang up as there recorder takes a sec to turn on. This Happens for most of all the bs calls you don't want.

They called today at 3:11 PM EST talking about my final chance to lower creditcard debt before they "closed the file" bunch of scammers HOW DO THEY HAVE MY NUMBER??!?!
