recorded message about lowering credit card rates....last chance. did not mention bank card company, etc. pressed 9 to talk to one of them and lady answered. told here I was sick and tired of idiots breaking the law by calling people w/o permission. she said that there were no idiots there and hung up.

I get these calls repeatedly. I believe the real caller is masking the actual number they are calling from with other phone numbers. I have contacted my local police department, but since this fraudulent business calls constantly but never from the same number, there is nothing I can do. You have to have received at least 3 calls from the same number to file harassment charges.

I received the same call, but, the phone number was 305-000-4656.  When I told the telemarketer that I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry and I would report them to our state's Attorney General, he said "he was shaking in his boots".

Obviously a phish.  Recorded call. Claimed she could lower my credit card insterst rate. But she didn't know what cards I have.  She wanted me to provide that info.
