they keep calling, answered once, bad english, said they had a legal matter about a bad check, said they would settle for $250 now, wouldn't tell me who the check was to, (had to laugh at this part) wouldn't take a check by phone becuz they said  I closed my checking acct after I wrote the check but would take my debit card #,  told them to sent me paper work,  he asked if my email address was valid,  it was my old address and how would they have gotten that from a check i supposedly bounced??!!!

Got a missed call. Googled the country code 40 as I didn't recognize it. It is Romania. Don't know anyone in Romania so I googled the whole number and came up with this site. Very helpful. I will not answer if they call again.

these people say you been approved for a government grant and want your bank information then hungs up when didn't get it. Got mad too, lol. who cares don't give your bank or ss number over never never never never do that

I got a call from this number just now.  However I did not answer as I do for many of my calls that I don't recognize the number for.  They did not leave a message.  Now that I know there are other people getting calls from this number and it seems it is of no substance, I won't be answering any future calls from this number either.

I turned this group in as they called and told me where to go to find a western union site and forward money to them so I could get my $7000.  When I investigated a little further and returned their call at which point they told me it was only 5000....DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION>>>IT WILL BE USED AGAIN YOU>  I turned them into the police so they could be aware in case an elderly person gets roped into this scam!!!!!

They keep calling me trying to get my account number saying I qualify for free money. Free money thought. B***s***. Some hindu dot head, asked me if I wanted a loan. I said no, jet told me to f*** off and hung up.

Got a call from this number and the guy was very hard to understand.  sounded Middle Eastern.  said I had been selected to recieve 7,000 in grant as long as I used it legally.  then wanted to know what i was going to use it for.  told him and education.  Then he said the only way I could recieve it was electronically and wanted a mastercard or visa number or my bank info.  When I said I didn't have it on me he wanted to know when he could call back.  I wanted a telephone number to call him when I got home and he hung up.

Was called by this number told it was about a government grant after he wanted my bank account info told him to mail me the info cause I don't know him sounded like a cross between an indian and japanese

this number has called my phone and my girlfreinds phone bout 15 times each everytime i tell them i know its a scam the hindu on the phone hangs up

Please stop this calling.  I Know this is a scam!  I have done nothing to be persued by the law.

i have been getting calls from this number everyday. then they just hang up. tried to call back, and said number was bad. how can i get thid stopped

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY CALLED ME VERY NASTY NAMES AND MY DAUGHTER ...I ASK THEM NOT TO CALL AND THEY KEPT CALLING

received a call from this same number. when i tried calling it back it said the number had been changed or disconnected. they never leave a message.

Got this call told them I did not know them they saod but I know who you are and started breathing deep. I told them never call this number again and hung up.

Says I am getting a grant for $7000 and asks for my credit card number or bank account number,

Got a call from this number saying I have won a grant for 10000 from the government. When I did not give my date of birth he hung up.

I got calls from this number but does not answer and not leave a message.

This person said he was calling from the US Grants department of or in Zambia. I told him to take my name off the list and never call me again.

These people telling you that you got money coming from the goverment $7,000.00 how would like it to come and when you ask them for their web site they hang the phone up.
