Never vote for anything by sending a text message. Apparently that gives them permission to sell your cell phone number to spammers. I think it was the Pepsi Vote people who did it to me, because they're the first place in almost a year I text-voted at and this and a dozen other started flooding my phone after.
The spam text message I received was:
"Need Quick Cash? Get $1500 from an online Lender deposited Fast!
Visit AMERICA70.com
-Reply STOP to Opt out-"
Best thing is not to reply (their opt out really is just a way to confirm you're a live person so they can sell your number to more spammers) and, if you keep getting spams, change your cell phone number, since, unfortunately, FCC doesn't regulate texts even if you're on the DNC list.

Seems like this guy is running an illegal pdl scam out of New York and Georgia.
In both states, pdl's are ILLEGAL.

About a week ago I started getting text mssgs from the same place, but they change the sender number everytime. They also say " 2 end reply STOP" and I have replied STOP, but I continue getting the same text mssg like 5 times a day. This has become harassment. This is what the text mssg says: "Great News! your requested CASH advance is now available! Get up to $1500 immediately! Use approval code: GVM1500 Visit: CREDIT300.com 2 end reply STOP"
Can anyone tell me how to report this harassment? I have already opt-out for marketing mssgs, but they continue sendingthe mtext mssgs.

Got a text message from this number. It said "Great news! Your requested CASH advance is now available! Get up to $1500 immediately! Use approval code: GVM----. Visit: MONEY600.com". I did not request for any cash advance. Don't know why they are texting me and how they got my number. It is a private unlisted number.
