They have called me also, they collect for different organizations. Calling them back and pressing 0 does not do a thing, because they called me back the next morning. I informed the person I had press 0 and entered my phone number. I told him to remove my name and phone number from his list. So far I have not received any more calls from this number for a donation.

I get at least three call a day from this number.  I wish they would just go away.

They call and we have told them we are not interest in tea party....

This number keeps calling me so I answered it to find out who it was and to tell them to take me off their list. The person said he was calling from the Tea Party.. and blah blah blah and he was glad to get in touch with me today! I hung up before he could finish. Just because they call them selves a political party they think that gives the the OKAY to call and ask for money!!

They wake me up almost every morning.  They have been calling for several weeks & I don't answer as I didn't know who TPP was.  Now that I do know its the tea party, I don't know how they got my number.  I have never supported them.

The do not call list does not apply to fund raisers including political.

Congratulations, you are on their radar screen for many years to come.  Do not answer calls from area codes or numbers you are not familiar with.  Confirming a live number is a success because they will sell your number over and over.  If it is important they will leave a message.

If the conclusion is fraud then please report details like if the voice was male or female, southern accent or pakistani? :) the tone ideas suggested i think will work but havent tried it with a cell network.

Been getting calls on my cell phone from 404-891-5541; no name,any time of the day up Till later night, I'm on do not call list" (HA!), no help,it's very disturbing...if I answer, there's no one there and if I don't answer, there's no message.  Please stop calling

If I am correct, even though you have put your number on a DNC list, if you give it out to any online petitions or pretty much anywhere on the internet, you have given them permission to call and have to ask to be removed from that particular list.

Mission accomplished - tell a lie long enough & people like you will turn against any misrepresented group.  To top it off ANY group fundraising for groups like Police or Fire get   80%   of the take, sometimes more.  Anyone who donates online needs to do some realistic homework.

I called the number back.  It is a service that makes calls for charities and political affiliations. You can push 0 to have your number removed from their call list.

Any judgement against a defendent who has an asset can lose any asset. That includes buildings. It has has happened before. Personal items such as clothing are usually harder to grab unless its fur, gold or other metals of values.

This number called me this morning.  Caller ID said GADS1, whatever the heck that is.  Answered it & waited through the pause, nobody picked up the line on the other end.  So irritating!

They asked for my son, who doesn't live with us anymore. When I asked if someone else could help, they said "we must have incorrect information." I called the number back. Their recorded answer said they are a fundraising organization for political groups or charities. They also offered an opt out service if you wanted to be removed from their outbound call list.

Promise them a thousand - send nothing.

I can't get them to stop calling me.  All hours of the day and even on Sunday evening at 8 pm! I've got on the tea party Patriots website and Facebook page and politely requested they stop their calls.  I've even called their phone number twice but never get a warm body and have to leave a message.  Still the calls come.  I would NEVER join such a movement when they have absolutely no respect for me and my unlisted phone number.

I only wish the US government would try to shut down these PIA!!

I answered, and they were doing a fundraiser for Americans for Prosperity, but I'm guessing they are a giant fundraising warehouse and were hired by this group.

My trick to not having the calls bug me is to program the number into my phone and set the ringer to silent.
