This is a legitimate company.  I called them back and talked to a guy who led me through a verification process (phone number address etc...)  They did not ask for any crazy stuff like credit card number, account numbers or personal ID stuff.

They didn’t tell me where the job was located, but said it was in my area.  The guy told me after I finished the verification that I would soon receive a phone call for an interview.  It took the company almost a week to get back to me.  Sounds good to me…

I was surprised when this company called me.  I have been applying online for a while.  The process seemed weird, but it worked.

I didn't get a call.  Instead I got an email.  I clicked on the link to see the job description.  It didn't tell me anything about the job including what city the job was in.  But today I got a return email saying that they had received my application for the job and that I needed to click on another link to confirm I got it.  So I guess I'll be watching my credit reports, etc. more closely now.

I did a little searching on this little "business" and found out that they are located in Eaglewood, CO but at the bottom of the email it says Orlando, FL. Hmmm...that is fascinating, isn't it? I was going to send them an email basically telling that I know that they are full of it, but I decided just to warn others instead. Don't hit the link, I'm sure it allows them into your computer and gather vital information.  Thank you all for your time.

Hi, I did not get a call but an email from this careers@careersolutionmap.com C. Garner stated that I was in the running for a clerical asst position.  Stated that that it was for an engineering firm.  Stated that I needed to go to another link to fill in additional info such as name, mailing address, phone and also 3 references.  There was also an area that asked for references.  There was also a place for me to answer if I was intrested in contining my education.  Has anything happen to anyone after filling out this much information?  I too am currently seeking employment.  I have not received a call as of yet.

Just got the same call to confirm an on-line application I applied for on 12/19 and was able to identify the position itself. Like everyone else, who can take a chance when you need a job!
A pleasant young lady, but did back off when I told her I was already enrolled in continuing education. She said she would pass on the information and the next call I receive would be from the HR contact at the Company which I sincerely doubt.
HEADS UP--Looks like they changed the phone number for the new year!

I get hundreds of these kinds of calls and if I don't hear anything right after saying hello I hang up because I know it's a computer calling. However...
I have recently started asking the telemarketer such questions as; What is your name and address so that I can send you an invoice for my time.

I got a call too. I have been avoiding the calls from 602-713-0785 because its a caller from University of Phoenix. I do not want a full time online education and recently they call about 3-4 times a day. I hung up on them today and then this number called around 5:40p. I picked up and there was no response. The next time I am going to pick up and tell them to quit calling because its harassment.

I just got the call too... now im a little worried. It wass just was the other explained: the guy said he was going to verify for me the information for a client, and I said no to the furthering education. He was really diplomatic though and said that any further contact would come from the company it self... Sounds like a load of bull.

The company doesn't give it's name in the recording.  However, the phone number is through Grande Communications Networks, Inc out of Houston Texas.  I strongly advise everyone who gets this pre-recorded call to
a:  File a complaint (Form 1088) with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
b:  When it asks for the name of the company, put Grande Communications Networks, Inc.
c:  File a complaint with Grande Communications Networks, Inc at http://www.grandecom.com/contact_us/

HELLO EVERYONE.... YEAH, AS YOU CAN GUESS, I HAVE RECEIVED THIS CALL AS WELL. WELL, WHAT WAS FUNNY THEY HAD CALLED MY BOYFRIEND'S CELL. THEY MENTIONED THAT THEY WANTED TO TALK TO ME ABOUT MY RESUME AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION I'D APPLIED FOR ONLINE. I'VE MENTIONED TO MY BOYFRIEND THAT WHY ARE THEY CALLING YOU FOR, IF MY HOME NUMBER IS PLACED ON THE OF MY RESUME. SO ANYWAY, I CALLED AND IT TOOK ABOUT 3 MINUTES FOR THEM TO ANSWER. YES THEY WANTED TO VERIFY MY INFO, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE 5 TO 45 MINUTES AND IF I HAD THE TIME...  I WAS THINKING TO MYSELF "IT TAKES UP TO 45 MINUTES TO VERIFY MY RESUME INFO?",, THIS IS CRAP I'M THINKING RIGHT.. SO, I SAID YEAH SURE, BUT IS THIS FOR A VARIETY OF EMPLOYERS OR JUST ONE EMPLOYER.. AND SHE SAID ONE. I THEN ASKED HER WHO IS THIS EMPLOYER AND SHE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS CONFIDENTIAL. I SAID WAIT!  I DON'T APPLY FOR ANY COMPANY THAT I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF OR WHAT THE POSITION IS FOR... SHE SAID "OH IT'S OK, I'LL JUST LET THEM KNOW" I SAID YOU DO THAT... THIS IS ALL CRAP... WHAT EMPLOYER HIRES A COMPANY TO ASK QUESTIONS THAT ARE CONFIDENTIAL BUT CAN'T GIVE OUT THEIR BUSINESS NAME?... I WOULDN'T GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO IF I WERE YOU.... IMMEDIATELY HANG UP....

Just got a call this morning.  Sounds about the same as many of the above posts...Robocall asking me to call back about an online application I had filled out for a job.  Funny thing is, I haven't applied online for any type of employment.  SCAM is the keyword here.  Best thing everyone can do that was called on a cell is go to the FCC website at  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  It is illegal for solicitors to call a cell phone.  The FCC has followed up on several complaints I have made and actually seem to be doing something about it.
