This was a call from BCBS re: Obamacare coverage I had looked in to for my child. It was legit (for me)

Answered the phone to a recorded message then a man came on the phone and said they were American Troopers Associatoin or something like that.  I told them I had to go b/c someone was walking in the door and they just hung up without saying anything more.

They called me at work when I stated we were a business he got mean as could be and said well you can support your highway troopers yourself when I said no sir I'm sorry I can't he said he was going to call back

This number called and said they were the TX state troopers looking for donations, I said I was in OK and they replied "I must have dialed the wrong number" and then hung up. Looks like they have quite the scam going on since it is an OK number.

I have these phone calls coming in, just like u! One night my son was here, he has been a State Trooper for over 15 years!  He immediately told me to hang the phone up! He told me Oklahoma State Troopers NEVER solictic for money!! There are scams going around with these scanners saying they are troopers or Oklahoma Fire Fighters!! They alternate!!  But I wanted to pass this on to you! They are making are brave & much needed fire fighters & Troopers look bad!!
If they kept calling I feel like we need to report it the TV 's In Your Corner catch these people at their desks!! The reason they use magic jack is to hide who it is! It is a scam!!!
I too have them take me off their list they first told me it was for Fire fighters, when I said I already gave, they waited a couple days and that number came up, this time they were for Troopers!!
We need to report it to phone company, TV reporter, and if all else fail, buy u a athlete whistle  and blow as hard as possible and then hang up!!

Received a call from this number. Unknown name on the caller id with this number. I let the answering machine pick up the call and they left no message.

Caller ID shows Oklahoma City, OK.  No message left on answering machine.  Calls late at night.  Very annoying.

I got a call from 405-316-9890 this morning. A man asked, "Is this Mrs. ______?" I said yes in my best "you've irritated me" voice. He said never mind and hung up. Hmmm...don't like dealing with me? You remember me from the last time you called and tried to force me to make a donation to the Oklahoma State Troopers Association? When I say send me something in the mail, that's what I mean. I just don't make donations over the phone. I want to read what your organization and fundraising is all about and then do research on it before I even think about donating.

My wife answered the phone and the operator tried to get her to hang on for a connection from this number. She hung up instantly. We don't accept collect calls from anyone. Will report this call to ATT in morning as Service office is long gone for the day (as usual).

That is what keeps happening to me and when i called them back it says the magicbox custmer can not be reached and mailbox is full im like ok that wierd

i got a call from this # on the day of 6/25/2011 at 11;59, the person was a female and i quote the words that was spoken on my phone,    if your calling this # back i have figured out this pass word and changedthis message, i dont know who the fu..er is but i will fu.. there sh.. up bye   un quote  i dont know who this person is or why they called but something needs to be done about this and she needs some serious therapy, i reported this call to the police and i recomend you do the same.

I don't know how they got my phone number. but get calls also from people claiming to collect from the Fire Department, my husband was a Fire Fighter and never did anyone call about donations, They can get really ugly wiith there mouth.  THIS IS A SCAM and I don't understand why it can't be stopped, they really get the older people who think they are doing the right thing.

i got a call on my house phone from this number and im worried about who it is, they asked for the owner of the house...

Called at 4:00 pm on Saturday, 4/24.  Claimed to be soliciting for Oklahoma State Troopers.  Asked to be removed from calling list.

This IS the American Association of State Troopers. A little internet searching and I came up with this https://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/letsa/do ... ration_form.pdf  It's funny that it contains the executive director's home and cell phone numbers.  I can't advise you to call him at home and bother him however.  It also contains information on Texas Data Entry, who is contracted to solicit money within Oklahoma.  According to this document they raised 6 million and change last year and spend 5 million and change on fundraising...hmmm. Sounds like something I want to support.

They call me all the time and never leave a message.  I'm pretty sure its the American Association of State Troopers or some agency they've hired.  They occasionally call me from a 918 number.  They don't take no for an answer.

they call all the time but when i answer no one is there. I googled the number and found this site.  very weird
