"Law & Order" is on, so I put the receiver by the TV and waited till the fake cop hung up. Didn't take very long! *LMAO*

They asked me if the lady of the house was home, so I said no, I'm not here, and they said they'd call me back.  *LOL* I don't give money to fake police charities.

First, why would OKC police etc need money from people in Alaska. They are STATE funded, not nationally funded.
Also, the taxes you pay, whether high or low, are distributed to the city services, they are not privately funded.
Last, if you care to make a real donation to ANY cause, do it directly.

The equipment they have is not used, tattered or torn. Salary cuts are NOT the same as department funding.

I know this is a legal organization but I never hear anything else after I send the money.  If they have an event for handicapped children, and solicit people, lets say,  from Alaska, they should then inform those same peope of how the event went and so on, so we all know that the money was used right.  

I live on a limited income....and what I donate I'd like to be able to report in my taxes.  This organization is not one that is tax exempt.

Also only they should call once whether they talk to someone or not.  Stop calling.  We call you back if we want to talk to you.

I clicked on the link in Snow's march 31, 2010 reply and it said the domain name was for sale--no such website. Did you get it wrong Snow? or are you in on it too?

Received a call and I did not answer since I don't live in OKC.  My # is unlisted so don't know how they would have got it.  Probably fake.  It was in our newspaper last week about fake callers.

Another fake charity scam.  NEVER give money over the phone.  Don't even answer if these crooks call.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Oklahoma State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on www.okfop.com, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Oklahoma police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.
