I rec'd a call from guy stating his name was Michael Tipton with Fraud  worthless Check Division,
405-367-0100 stated to call him and govern wisley. I don't know who this is  and why he is callingme.He would not give company he was with. I know he is fruadulent, because I have worked for court system for many years this is not the process.

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and may be using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.

This guy has been harassing me for going on 3 weeks now. He is calling me from the number 405-217-4560 and saying his name is D.A. Follis, and he is with the Fraud and Worthless Checks Division of the White Collar Crime Investigation Unit. The number comes up on my caller ID as Norman Oklahoma.

I have filed a report with my local police, and also contacted the Cleveland County DA's office in Norman Ok.

He tried to say I owed him $625 for a check written to National Cash Advance,  so I called National Cash Advance who looked in their computer system, and found that I've never gotten a loan through their company ( or any other cash advance company for that matter.).

I did a 3 way call with the representative from National Cash Advance on the phone back to "Mr. Follis", with the Rep trying to inform "Mr. Follis" I didn't have an account with their company,  who then proceeded to curse me out, and tell me he was  executing 2 felony warrants against me for passing a bad check and bank fraud, and that he was going to note on my account that I said "catch me if you can" and waived my right to council in the matter.

All, they are Weinberg, Cockran, Coulson and Irwin, running out of Jacksonville Florida. I have done much research on them and linked them to another agency that was charged in a case back in 2008. I am calling the State of Florida Attorney General today and telling them what I found. I'm collecting phone numbers that they use so please if they call you again, post the number here so I can add it to the ten + numbers I've found. They are NOT a legit collection agency. DO NOT listen to any of their threats. Read up on the FDCPA and throw some info at them, it will cause them to diverge from their script and get all confused because they have no idea what they are talking about. Basically, from what I've found, they are common criminals (ex-cons, drug addicts, street kids) doing a "job" they have no idea of what they're doing. Trust me, it worked for me, they're complete and utter IDIOTS.

This Michael Tipton calls from 405-367-0100 and is a liar and a bully trying to scare people into making payment on loans that may or may not be legitimate. Do not believe one word he says. He has been reported to the FTC at least once already.
