How does one find out who is in control of a number of this sort?

Caller ID showed ER Surveys. They are a rude survey/telemarketing group.I give the surveys false information and tie up the line as long as possible on the telemarketing calls. Don't surrender to unwanted calls. ER surveys you have my attention but you will never have my cooperation.

They call repeatedly at different times of the day. I asked how I can stop them from harrassing me and they replied "answer our survey questions".

I think I am getting calls as a result of applying for something and now I am getting calls that I have not gotten for years. My guess is that these are a result of being on a list and the list getting sold. I will not answer

4 calls in one day. Total 7 calls in 3 days. Never answer. They never left message. I tried to called back the number and got busy signal.

Now who's calling me in Puerto Rico from Montana & why?? What are they selling?

406 224 9230 called me so many times and no voicemail left, when I called back it was a busy tone after about 30 seconds waiting. I think it is a bothering "bug". It should be on "unwanted list".

I keep a whistle handy and when I get a call from an unknown number I check the internet to see if other people are getting the same call.  If these  are prang calls;  when  they  call again from the same no., I blow the whistle.  This should be good enough for them not to be able to use tels. anymore!!

young man on phone sounded like an idiot, stuttered and pretended to be reading off a speech about my credit card, and i said screw off dick.  do not trust this number,

I AM RECEIVING ONE CALL PER AFTERNOON APPROX. 5:15 PM AND NO BODY ANSWERS SINCE THE LAST 2 DAYS.  SOMEBODY KNOWS WHO'S PHONE IS THIS???

Turn them into the do not call registry - do it every time.  They just called me at 9:30 PM.  That really ticks me off as they woke up my 5 year old.

they have a web site with email addresses.  i suggest you contact them directly and ask them to stop calling you.  no idea if it will work.

Caller ID shows ER Surveys and the first time they called a young man said that he wanted to talk to me about my grocery shopping practices. I told him that I didn't have the time for surveys but I've been called a few more times anyway.

I have a Google Voice number (but ER Surveys is calling my land line) and that's why this phone number rang a bell with me - it's a direct access GV number that would only connect you to them if you were using your Google Voice number to dial it. However, because of the way that 406 numbers work, you still wouldn't be connected to ER Surveys because GV assigns where the call goes based on the GV number it's being dialed from. So if GV has assigned someone in my contact list that number and I dial it from my GV number, I'll get the right party but if I dial that same number from my land line, I won't get anywhere because GV doesn't recognize the number I'm calling from.

It's a little confusing but if you Google 406 numbers, you'll see what I mean. :)

At any rate, this "company" is using Google Voice and by having their 406 number displayed on the Caller ID, they are anonymous and therefore...more than likely spammers.

got the first call today but was not home and no message. sure glad we can check these on google

Asked for my son...wanted to know how he was going to vote.
I said that was private information. They called at 9:00.
They called again the next evening.

Called me three times today without leaving a message. I don't answer calls if I don't recognize caller ID.

Not sure if this is connected, but I am suspicious: I got a message from someone yesterday saying that they were from my bank and wanted to discuss my automatic payments to my credit card with that bank. The caller gave my bank's 800 number, so it seemed legit. But when I called back, the agent at the bank said that there was no record of the call being made and there is nothing in my c.c. record to indicate that any discussion is necessary.The agent told me that when this kind of thing happens, the first thing they assume is fraudulent activity.  I have been with the same bank for 30 years, and they have never called me to have a "discussion" of this or any other sort.

I got another mystery call yesterday from 701-625-5583 - I am going to look up that number now.

Don't bother answering as it's not anyone you know or that knows you.  It the newest way of invading our privacy.

Heard a voice.  Called back number from my phone and it was dead air.  Did not ring.

Received a call from this # they asked for mr my husband told them I was busy, said they were calling to ask me about my vote??  Husband said it sounded like they were calling from a bar.

Called on Sunday. If I knew who originated these calls, I will permanently stop them using any and all forms of destruction in legal ways.

the guys said he was with NWR then i lost signal or he hung up, he as if i was a certain person, I said yes and thats when it hung up, Im paranoid that they're ID theft people.
