>>>> The ONLY way to give it BACK at these marketers is to ?.. be very nice to them, tell them you are very interested, but ask to hold while you get your husband or wife to talk. Then put down the phone and make THEM wait. They will have to decide how long to wait before hanging up.
? I get satisfaction doing this to them !

This outfit has their own epidemic going. They will hound you to death. Report to donotcall.gov if you are on the list.

Go to donotcall.gov for national list. File a comlaint. "May result in legal action." These people are a horrible nuisance. Help to get rid of them!

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group. They insist that they do not initiate illegal telemarketing calls, however they are involved in managing the calling lists for their "3rd party contractors" who make the telemarketing calls.

Tracked one call (through followups) to a telemarketing manager in CT
Feel free to call his personal mobile phone number constantly and repeatedly here: 203-434-0572
I encourage people to waste these companies' time by following up and leading them through fake sales leads. Show them TOM is a waste of time.

Most of you people are really dumb, aren't you? It's not an actual human being dialing your phone number over and over again; It's a computer. These call centers use software to make phone calls. It's called a predictive dialer (look it up). Let's say they set the dialer to a 5:1 ratio. The system dials 5 phone numbers at a time for every available agent. The first line that picks up gets routed to the agent's computer (hence the delay before someone comes on the line). The computer then puts the other 4 calls into the agent's queue. This is the reason why you may pick up and just get dead air. These companies purchase your information from various sources. Most of you have probably signed up for things online, not realizing that those fields you were filling in become the information used by telemarketers to call you. This data gets sold in batches. Then it gets resold. And then it gets sold again. And so on. Before you know it, several companies are calling you to sell you one thing or another. Now, data is expensive. If these companies actually removed information from their databases every time somebody said they weren't interested, or not to call anymore, their reps wouldn't have phone numbers to dial all day. These companies use other companies' services to protect their identities and make untraceable phone calls from numbers like this one. It's a numbers game: a rep will make six or eight hundred calls a day, get two or four people to sign up or buy whatever it is that they're selling, put food on their table. That's all it is, a job. These people aren't evil-scam-artist-criminal-psychos, they're moms and dads, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors, trying to keep up with bills and paying taxes just like you folks. Bottom line: get the f**k over it! Change your number. Stop signing up for things online, or over the phone, or filling out the slips to win the free car at the mall. Get a smartphone and download any number of apps that will block any unwanted calls before they ever ring through to your phone. Or just surrender to the fact that telemarketers will be around as long as there are telephones... And they have your number. #dealwithit

Steve Hamilton, Estela Hamilton, and Michael Pittman of Pacific Telecom Communications Group are the ones behind these scams. The have registered as a public utility in several states in an attempt to shield themselves from their illegal telemarketing activities.
What makes it so comical is that Steve Hamiliton actually applied and was granted utility status in at least one state simply using a Gmail account and a bogus phone number.

Got a call from "Hi this is Tom from home protection" again today, average 2 calls a day from them. went thru the voice prompts to get a "call back" since I said I was "interested". cant talk to a human otherwise. 10 minutes later got a call from "VMS" virtual monitoring service or something like that at 1-866-493-1253 ext 200, the caller said he was from the "alarm company"...was able to get on their Do Not Call list, I think VMS is the "mothership" for the Tom from Home Protection robo dialer.... hopefully being on the VMS Do Not Call List will stop calls from the robo dialers they hire! fingers crossed....

The OTO Group calls me almost everyday. I am thinking of getting rid of this line. I am on the do not call list. Please do not buy whatever the OTO Group is selling

You can complain every day and 20,000 times a day to DNC registry. It doesn't matter. Read the fine print. The only thing they do with the reports is let lawyers see them, just in case, they feel like doing a class-action suit against someone. Gee. That and $5 will give me a cup of coffee. Do Not Call Registry is as effective as the Congress that created it.

Got two calls this evening 8/19/2011 from this number and they hung-up after 3 rings, left no message.
| Josh 2011-08-20 01:12:40 Unknown |
I am about ready to waste the gas to go up to Montana to sort this out. I get 10 calls from this person in a week. And this has been for the passed 2 months. I live in Texas and am 17 and HAVE NO DEBT. WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME!! I have put myself on the DNC list and it stopped briefly then started again. I have recieved it twice in the past 3 hours and that sent me to the internet to figure out what it is. I am going to call AT&T and have them put me on a do not call list or something but this is starting to get ridiculous.

Sneaky little b*****ds know there's nothing we can do about it. Blocking is a neusence and The NDNC is a joke. The world is this way now. Shameful disregard for people from- none other than- people. Can't ask why and can't complain. We are sitting ducks for the technology fueled society we have created. Welcome to 2011.

I am receiving numerous calls from phone #406-351-4361 which I would like to have stopped. Since I do not know anyone from Montana I ignore the calls which are coming in at least twice a day about two or three times a week.
