Total scam, offered $80 extra to send an item overnight... can you say RED FLAG?
Watch out, do your homework before being willing to give out "ANY" ifno!
To good to be true, 99.9% of the time it is.. that 00.1% is when that unrealistic fluke happens.. Not generally the case!

Craigs list hacker. Sends bogus emails with Paypal headings (confirmed by Paypal support) to people asking them to send their products before payment has arrived. Said he would send $50 shipping for an iPad. Uses email addresses:

This piece of dirt tried scamming me. He had texted me and asked if my iPod was still for sale. When I said yes they sent me this text " I'm okay with the price.i want it. i will be adding $50 for the shipment.Kindly send me your paypal email so i can make the payment." Ummm..no! Seriously don't even waste your time on his a/h.
It just freaks me out that he has my number but I hardly doubt someone like that is a threat to me.

I too received the same text today from this number...he/she/it also offered me $50 over asking price to ship a pair of sunglasses to MI from a Craigslist ad. I told them, theres no WAY shipping costs that much, that I also don't have a PayPal account (he asked me to create one, HA!), and that it smelled like a scam....never heard back since! hahaha. Stupid ***hole!

Received a Text from this number , he said his name was Harry Smith , and wanted to know my final price for a motorcycle I had listed on Kijiji and to email him at a G mail address.
Soundedfishy , Why would some guy from the USA want to purchase a motorcycle from someone in Canada , they don't have motorcycle in the US
I never replied . Dont know what the scam is but I know its a Scam .

I just received the same type of message from this number iun regards to my craigslist ad. It seemed so odd that they were SO willing to pay an extra $50 for shipping that I did a search on this number...lo and behold all of you have dealt with this person as well. I just told them I dont have paypal and asked if we could do another form of payment. Waiting for a response now.

Received message from a craigslist ad that I posted asking for my pay pal account to make payment. Said they would have shipping CO. from OHIO pick up furniture. When I asked them to call me to discuss specifics they didn't respond. They even ignored my comment about them being a spam/scammer.
