This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They insist that they do not initiate illegal telemarketing calls, however they are involved in managing the calling lists for their "3rd party contractors" who make the telemarketing calls.

Steve Hamilton, Estela Hamilton, and Michael Pittman of Pacific Telecom Communications Group are the ones behind these scams.  The have registered as a public utility in several states in an attempt to shield themselves from their illegal telemarketing activities.

What makes it so comical is that Steve Hamiliton actually applied and was granted utility status in at least one state simply using a Gmail account and a bogus phone number.

debt reduction......says if you have debt and want to lower it, leave your name and number and how much debt you have.
When you call the number, you only get "hello, thank you for calling. goodby.

I pressed 2 to be on the DNC list. Was called two days later and pressed 1 to speak with someone. Was told I would be removed. Called again two days later, pressed one, asked the man for the name of the company and his name, was hung up on.

Got the call yesterday and it was a recording about dropping my credit card rates..did not know that until I tried to tell her I didn't have any credit cards and she continued to speak into my phone lol...I hung up.  This number has called me 3 times today now.  Hmmm wonder how to get it to stop calling me.

this is a company calling itself "Universal Card Services."  They offer to lower your credit card debt.  Each time they called me I called back to get put on their 'do not call' list.  If I find out who they are and they call me again I think a law suite is in order for harassment.

I too got too calls ...one on the called ID said "Unavailable" and the second Id said "Important"...I called back and a message said if you do not want any more calls to dial 1...I did, and hung up

Called the number back.  Recorded message said Thanks for the call back.  If you do not wish to recieve any more calls about our special promotions please press 1.  Hope I didn't just give them permission to use my phone #.  I HATE these people.

they keep calling and the ID is important.  I checked past numbers and it came up telemarketer.  evidently the do not call list means nothing to them.

I've been getting these every day now for a week or so. Not answering hasn't helped, so today I picked up and started hearing a recorded message like "this is your last notice" (really? Can I have that in writing, please?)

I tried to disconnect, but when I picked up the phone again, a live person was on the line, all friendly-like. I calmly told him I didn't have any debt, so I didn't NEED any help with my interest rates. I think he hung up because I heard a click.

Why can't these people leave us alone? if they have a legitimate service, why are they too cowardly to use their real company name, instead of this "IMPORTANT" nonsense? Do they really think people with caller I.D.'s seeing that word will be any more likely to answer their calls???

It's not "Rachel from Card Services" but it sounds similar.  The new twist is that this recording claims that it's the government making them call people to "work with consumers" to reduce rates on credit cards & other unsecured debt.  No company name identified in the recording or when you call back -- you get another recording.

I have received two calls ,one yesterday June 13th and one today June14th.  The whole message was spoken in spanish  of which I don't understand a word.. Just wondered who they were and what the message was all about.

They just called me. The caller ID did indeed say Important. The message, or what I listened to, was about "the government ordering credit card companies to work with their customers" it asked me to press a button. It also read off a number that I'm sure was supposed to relate to me in someway, but notice, prerecorded messages have a database of one digit numbers that they can string into a number of any digit. Thus, if it really was a legitimate recording, if they had read back their number, it would have sounded like this: 4 - 0 - 6 - 8 - 5 - 2 etc. When they read the number over the phone, it had all been prerecorded as that one single number, so it sounded like 4068528377. I hope that makes sense. It's easy to tell when a database of recorded, single digit numbers is being played back to you in a phrase, versus a complete, prerecorded number.

I found that interesting, and perhaps worth noting. I didn't press what ever button they asked me to press. But I though to pass on that realization. I think it was just another scam.

I do not like having to run up the stairs to answer the phone for these credit card companies.  This one showed up as IMPORTANT.  Not!  I have registered & re-registered to be removed from call lists but it doesn't seem to work.  Is there a way to sue them so they stop harrassing me?  I have much better things to do than listen to how my credit card interest can be lowered.  I DON'T HAVE CREDIT CARDS.

These losers called again, same IRS debt message.

Automated systems to lower interest rates. I have been getting this call for about 3 weeks everyday at least 2 times each day. I decided instead of pressing 2 to opt out (since I have done this numerous times already) to press 1 instead I asked to speak to a supervisor both times I asked each person said they are a supervisor, so I told them both to not call my number again. Since yesterday I have received 2 more calls.

Getting harassed daily now by calls from this number to my cell. The only time I was successful getting back through, I pressed the option to be removed from their call list, but it has not helped. Now, the number is either always busy or a recording answers that the number is not a working number.

406-852-8377 called this morning with a "ROBO" message "You have outstanding federal taxes due" Who do these $%(%%$% IDIOTS think we are to fall for a call like this...All this is #$#$%# harassment to good law biding citizens. I have reported them to the FTC before and I guess I have to do it again...Thanks FTC for putting a stop to these below low life, scum sucking, bottom of the barrel, #$$% crooks.

on the pretense on lower percentage rate on charge cards they want all your info name , address, social security number, work info--so to see if i could get any info from them i gave them them info on someone who has been dead for 15 yrs the address is the cemetery, they hung up when i demanded the name of their co.. the caretaker will let me know if any mail starts arriving

I am on do not call registry.  I Have an unlisted cell phone number and still received a call from 406-852-8377. I have called the FCC and filed a complaint with them. One more phone call you will be prosecute you for harassment. This number has never been part of a business.
