it said FCU and there was a problem I need to call this number .I did not call I did a reverse phone lookup and found this information about it being a scam number . I deleted the message . it is coming in from a , at Sprint.com number .

Two SMS/texts received today requesting my 16-digit card number in order to re-activate following fraudulent activities.

Complete scam. No live person to speak with. I replied to the SMS/text with a vile and disgusting message to the sender but the repsonse from the SMS system said that I had an invalid user address at @vtext.com.

Got the call March 26th from "345344@sprintpcs.co".  Naturally I had to respond because Sprint is my long distance provider.  I was simply told there was a "technical error" and I had to enter my debit card number.  The message repeated several times.

I just got a text from the same number telling me to call the Jefferson Parish Federal Credit Union.  Jefferson Parish has an area code of 504, not 407.  This is annoying that morons doing this can get away with trying to scam unsuspecting people.  This is why we can't outlaw guns - someone has to put idiots out of their misery.

Same thing for me:  Friday night I received the following:  "Hello! Please call 14073921602 your attention is required."  The sender was call@vtext.com.

They also sent it to 3 other family members' cell phones.  We have ignored/deleted it.

I, also, reported this not only to my carrier but to my bank security.

I got the same message saying my attention was required and I did a reverse phone look-up on it. My husband got the same message at the same time tonight.

I received this message  on 11/9/12 at 1:06 pm.  Did a search on the # and found these posts.  Thank You for the comments..I forwarded the message to 7726 that someone had suggested in a post..and proceeded to block the # on my account.  I tried calling the number from a land line and received a busy signal.  Tried again and got through..it's a recorded message indicating what the posts have said.  Do they seriously think people are going to follow through with providing a card #.  My first reaction would be is to call my financial institution and ask what is going on.  THIS IS SCAM/SPAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!!!!!

I just received this on at least 2 of my lines - about 30 seconds apart.  One is in my name and the other is not.....clearly a phishing scam.

This same number text me,, so I called my bank and they said they didn't send me no text,, so yes this is a SCAM

I received the same message at 2:00pm today. I sent the text to Verizon (THANKS!) They replied asking for the number then indicated I could block future texts from this number by going to: VZW.com/MyVerizon/Blockcallsand messages. I'm going to try it. Thought those who've gotten multiples might want to contact their carrier (or use this if they are VZ customers) to stop future messages.

Got the same text and called it from my lan line. It is very funny to see how stupid they think we are to enter a card number. I suggest to flood call the number and fun with it.

Does anyone know the name of the company who is texting all of us?

Since I'm not going to call back without blocking my number (the call is disconnected if I block my number) I don't have any information on these people.

I rec'd a text message from the same number.  
How do these people get our cell numbers and what are they trying to do?  Are they trying to scam us or what?  I tried blocking my number and calling back but the call is disconnected.
How do you get these people to stop texting?

I just got the same vtext  call@vtext.com  "Hello!Please call 14073921602 your attention is required".  Thanks to everyone elses comments I now know it was a scam call, never called it.

This is definitely a phishing attempt to get you to give them their debit card.
