Peerless is also using 407-308-0208 calling 10-12 times a day with no messages left.

Interesting apparently when your phone is being illegally tapped into by the corrupt law enforcement agencies they use telemarketer centers. Upon calling these numbers back as always they say either this is not a working number or this number has been disconnected. should say at least from the landlines phone. Wonder if the use threats and/or intimidation, pay offs or favors to enable them to use the telemarketers service center.
I have tons more of these numbers from N.Y., Los Vegas, Arizona and on and on. You can hear the rerouting of the number and an open line.
Clues as well of when you are waiting for a call to be connected while listen to music you make any noise what so ever and the music fades out when there is noise, speaking, humming, singing, and when you stop then the music or ring comes back. Anyone who know of illegal tapping will know what I am speaking of I am sure.

Now they are offering Medicare Cards! And they want your banking information.

I am getting phone calls on a daily basis from the Peerless network. It is a different number everyday and I want it stopped. I am on a do not call list.
Thank you.

How are you certain this person is behind the Card Services Calling???????
Call Dan at 312-506-0933 2012-10-04 21:53:58 Telemarketer
We get calls from this company 2-3 times a day. It says it is from "Card Member Services". It gives option 3 to never hear the call again. Then, about 20 minutes later, we get a call from "Private Number" (call id blocked). Again, press option 3. It goes away for 4-9 hours... until it starts again!!
The same thing happens with 407-476-5680, 407-476-5689, 417-800-2309, 786-358-5551
The number is being used by a company called "Peerless Network of FL, LLC" That CLEC agreement (which is the agreement to get the block of phone numbers from AT&T) was signed by Scott Kell and his phone number is 312-282-9323. You can leave a message there, but I have never heard back.
Daniel Meldazis is the Director of Regulatory Affairs and his phone number is 312-506-0933. I was shocked that he actually answered the phone! When I talked to Dan, he seemed pretty reasonable and said he would take care of it. (We'll see.)
In the mean time, I am issuing a formal complaint with the FCC and the state of Florida.

HOW DO WE STOP THE CONTINOUS CALLS ABOUT CREDIT CARDS
it must be at least 2-3 times per day- no credit card problems
what a scam
why is allowed to continue
charlie p 2012-07-27 16:00:03 Unknown
This is totally ridiculous as I have ZERO credit card debt. What a scam!!!!!!
cynthia 2012-05-08 22:28:41 Unknown
We get calls from these people all the time. I, too, have gone through the "press 3, blah blah blah", I tell them not to call any more, they say sure, then they call back. I have an excellent ringtone on my iPhone of a woman screaming, loudly & convincingly. Think I'll play it next time one of these jerks calls. BTW, I'm noticing the same names of complainants with all the numbers I'm looking up. I wonder if there's some target circle we all fit into, like being on the AARP mailing list or something.

me too right now.
many in the pAST ALSO~~~~~~~~~
paleolith 2012-05-08 18:20:11 Unknown
Yup, got one too. Went to my phone service control panel and told it to send "disconnected" when this number calls. If you can't block callers by phone number, switch services, there's lots of VoIP providers now.

SCUM BAGS. OFFER AN OPT TO STOP FUTURE CALLS BUT THEY DON'T COMPLY. CALL 2-3 TIMES A WEEK.
DOES ANYONE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS TYPE OF SOLICITER????
HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS?
This scammer company is in U.S. 2012-05-07 23:48:34 Unknown
These scammers are calling from right here in the U.S and it isn't just a Do Not Call problem. They call to get your credit card number. Keep reporting this company to the FCC and maybe they will do something. The web site is FCC.Gov.
Marianne C 2012-05-07 21:36:50 Unknown
This number is a spoofed number. When you get a call from this number, it can be from a scam outfit that calls itself Credit Card Services, Card Holder Services, Credit Services, or some other non-name identity.
These people are criminals. DO NOT give them ANY information. Do not take their calls. Just hang up. Do not press 3 -- they will know they have a live number. If you pick up and hear their recording, hang up immediately.
Their calls are saturating both the US and Canada. Both governments are aware of them and are trying to put a stop to their scam. They want your credit card and/or pin numbers so they can rob you. There are thieves and nothing more.
The calls are not even coming from the US. They are spoofing US numbers. They are calling from countries that do not respond to subpoenas and will not extradite criminals.
There is nothing the law can do for you. There is nothing filing a complaint with the consumer protection department can do for you. If you give them any i formation of any kind, you are screwed, and that's the end of the story.
Tell your relatives, tell your friends, warn everyone you work with. The only thing that will thwart them is for every man, woman, and child in the US and Canada to know they are scam artists and thieves and refuse to talk to them.
They have been pulling this scam fro about 2 and a half years. AT&T has recognized some of the numbers they use and will identify them in your caller ID as "telephone scam." You can block one number, and they will call you from another one. Until we can get the government to send Seal Team 6 in to shut them down, all you can do is refuse to take their calls.
Please make them stop 2012-05-07 19:37:31 Telemarketer
They have been calling for several years now. They call sometimes 10 times per day and they sometimes leave a message about lowering interest rates. Sometimes the voice says it's Rachel from Card Services. 2-3 years ago, I was getting sick of the repeated calls and I pressed one and spoke with someone there. They told me they were from Card Services and made it sound like they were from my credit card company. They probably just wanted my credit card number. I told them to stop calling and they said they would stop. That was 2-3 years ago.
babylon 2012-05-07 18:58:40 Unknown
Harassment. How can we stop these calls? We are on the do not call list already.
babylon 2012-05-07 18:54:52 Unknown
Sick of getting this call. We are on the do not call list. How can we stop this nonsense?
Tired of getting calls from them 2012-05-07 18:09:05 Unknown
In the past they called and said it is Rachel from Card Services. Asking to be removed only confirms your number and they call back again. They want your credit card number. They think of you as a bank account. They will keep calling over and over. You might want to report them to the FCC instead.
Report them anyway 2012-05-07 17:46:50 Unknown
The FCC could find the con artist / scammer if they really wanted to do that. In the past they have called and said it is Rachel from Card Services. In my opinion, they just want to get peoples credit card numbers.

I was telephoned from this number on 5/7/12 and they wanted me to give them my PayPal credit card number. I could not find my credit card so gave them a difficult time and ended up saying if they were from Visa why don't they tell me the number. I ended up saying &&##@#%%%$ and she hung up. I called Pay Pal and complained about the 23% I enterest rate and said &&##@#%%%$ to them also, but hung up on them before they hung up on me. PayPal said calls from this number are a scam to get credit card numbers. No one should ever give their credit card number to strangers who call them.
&&##@#%%%$

Fed Up! 2012-05-05 20:30:39 Unknown
I've been getting an unusually large number of these hang up calls from assorted numbers multiple times daily. I want these calls to stop , as I continuously go through the trouble to put myself on the do not call registry.
Fed Up! 2012-05-05 20:25:59 Unknown
awesome! I need that!
Fed Up! 2012-05-05 20:24:49 Unknown
You should report it anyway. They're not all over seas. there is a group here nearby using 216 numbers it's a local scam. Each report gets them closer because I have actually used some sites to identify the local cell phone owners. There are people who have multiple phones and run a new scam every week!
j 2012-05-05 03:03:54 Unknown
Am on "The Do Not Call" list but they still call.
D Robert Thayer - Bob Thayer 2012-05-04 22:49:20 Unknown
Pursuant to (foolishly) responding to their "Press 3 to discontinue these 'charge card' lower your interest percentate" by actually pressing the "3" - I shortly received a call from 715 000 0000 - which afforded no voice...just a nuisance call, apparently.
sukie 2012-05-04 22:31:29 Unknown
don't call again
anya 2012-05-04 21:05:21 Unknown
IF YOU DON'T KNOW # DON'T ANSWER! When I get these calls and believe me they use more than 1 #, several times a week, and I see it's them, I just leave the phone keep ringing.

This is the second call I have received from this scammer group wih a different number. The other number they have used is 617-390-4562. me.
Received a call from the above number (area code Orlando, Fl) received a recorded message that first puts you in fight mode as it has to do with your credit card then they say your account is not a problem. They claim to be credit Services.Today after the prerecorded robo call I again went to a live person who when I began to ask questiond hung up on.
The individual (Amaris) started asking questions about how much I owe and the interest rate to which I interjected my own questions to assist in investigations for the State and Federal DO NOT CALL LIST. When I asked who they were she stated Account Manage Assistance and they deal directly with VISA, MASTER CARD, and DISCOVER. WHen I asked where they were she hung up.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON ANY CALL YOU RECEIVE NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT SOUNDS. YOU WILL BECOME A VICTIM OF IDENITY THEFT
