They call me, then when I pick up they hang up relatively instantly.

Found out from a reverse phone search... it's PAETEC COMMUNICATIONS, INC.  They have the numbers blocked from 407.692.0000 through 407.692.9999.  Running a google on them provided me with this number:  877.999.7705  Which is listed as an "annoyance call line" for the parent company.  I'm calling it now to say about that phone number.

yes kabrina that is what happend to me they will call all the time said i won a dimond braclet anked for a bunch of personal info. scary!!!

We received a phone call from these people saying that they were with some "On Top University" and that we won a sweepstakes and that he had to pay by credit card for a subscription to like 5 magazines THEN they asked him for his social security number and all kinds of personal info which has me a little bit scared because my boyfriend does not have street smarts and he does not know when he is being swindled so if u could kindly tell me who these people are i would greatly appreciate it.  I reversed the number online and it comes up as a cleaning service and I am very worried now about these "supposed professionals" having personal info of his AND MINE!

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past two weeks at all different times in the day.. what the heck.. This ish is annoying...

I received three calls from this number yesterday and I answered one of them to see who was calling me and it was a hang up.  This may be an auto call system calling randomly generated numbers to determine who actually answers and then selling that list to spammers/solicitors.  I received a call today from a neighboring florida area code asking me to verify my personal information for "Prize allocation purposes" and when I asked if I could call him back at a better time he said "nope, that's it bud." The first calls might be bait calls and expect more calls to follow.  I will definately be registering on the do not call list today.

I just called 877.999.7705  Which is listed as an "annoyance call line" for the parent company for PAETEC.  There was a recorded message that stated that hang up calls cannot be investigated and are not illegal.  Interesting!  Nonetheless, the recording suggested that I register my cell phone number under the DO NOT CALL list.  If anyone else is interested, you can do this online at www.DoNotCall.gov
I'll be doing this immediately ;however, I'm sure this will take a few months to kick in!

Someone on another blog said the number is to a company called PAETEC Communications.  They have several locations throughout the US including one in Orlando Florida, which is where I tracked my call from.  I will be calling the PAETEC office local to me to question the 407-692-1026 number that continues to call my cell phone regularly. They keep calling my cell phone in past few weeks; Who are they? How they got my cell #? and they always call my cell at night after 7:00. I never give my cell# to everyone else except my family.

They have called 2 times today and I wasnt able to answer the phone the first time they left no message. I answered the 2nd time and they hung up. Not sure who it was but you would think if they wanted to talk to me bad enough to call back they would have at least talked, and I tried calling it back and it said I could not call them. I have a prepaid boost cell phone so I am not sure how they came up with my number, but I dont think it was from Cragslist I havent put anything on there in a few months. But if they want to come all the way from FL to TN to clean my house I would not want to pay that bill. LOL

I keep getting calls from this number as well! They just started today, they never leave a message, and as with all the other post when I call back it says I've dialed an invalid number... After reading this post I'm a little freaked out... Please post if you find a way to stop the calls... Btw I live in CA.

This is not a collection agency. Sorry, I am NOT in collections; I have access to my credit report for a reason. I'm thinking someone sold my phone number because I've been getting several calls like this from several numbers.

Either its a collection agency or somthing like that. I personally belive I work for a collection agency and I live in MN.The reason why you can't call it back because its an out bound number. They are on automatic dialers which means the computer dials it. They some times are leagly not alowed to leave messeges. A lot of times they ask for "john smith" and if you say yes they transfer you not hang up so just wait on hold. But as far as I know I am not in collections so I am not sure what they want!

Has called my security system cellphone 26 times in 4 days. No messages, callback gets a message that the number I called is not in service.

They have my name... what the hell? This number has called me a few times, I finally answered and they said "hello steve ..... " I was like who is this? And they hung up..  Called back and get some PFL02 out of order number. Have any of you gave your number out to someone on craigslist?  I have recently came across some scammers on craigslist, so just beware.

This number has called MY CELL PHONE, my HOME PHONE repeatedly. who the heck is this thing?

BTW- My cell phone is an unlisted pre pay for a reason- so I wouldn't get stupid calls like this.
