Got a call from here.  Asked for personal info name and date of birthdate and hung up. Might be a scam

This company has called TWICE!  First time, asked my husband for his name, DOB, and then asked for INSURANCE INFO -- on "alert" my husband said, "I don't have anything to do with your company, and I don't give out my insurance info, to just anyone".  And the person said, she'd note it in the files, then they hung up.  AGAIN, today, we received a call from this same company, but they left a message saying for my husband to return their call.  UNTIL we know something from our DR., we will not return this call !!!.......seems like a "scammy" way to do things, if they are legitimate!! Makes one suspicious, and on guard --- we do not give out personal info on phone, to just anyone!

Curascript is a specialty pharmacy that has many locations all over the US however they are based in FL. They are a legit pharmacy.

Well Curascript is  SPECIALTY PHARMACY and there are laws preventing them from releasing any health related information without verifying whom they are speaking with(Date of Birth & Address), this is the law HIPAA. Before they can release any information regarding you or your childs prescription they need to verify those two pieces of information legally.
Could you image having an illness that you may not want anyone to know about they just started informing anyone they got on the phone about your HIV or Cancer medications? I promise this is done to protect you and your family members.

Oh, and FYI, my employer sponsored PPO healthcare plan does not deal with Curascript. Plus, my kids pediatrician had no idea what it was about. So, good luck to you, Kris, throwing your kid's data out of the window.

These folks called my - registered DNC number - and asked if i could confirm my daughter's date of birth and my street address. What am I, an idiot? So i asked what this was about, and she said she couldnt tell me unless i verify these data, out of " security purposes". When i replied i first want to know who the hell she was, why she calls my DNC number and what this was all about because of my daughter's security purposes, she was dumbfounded and hung up. SCAM

Everyone saying that this is a scam is an idiot.  Worst case, someone else used your phone number when they established their current health insurance.  Best case, they're handling your pharmacy benefit through your health insurance, and you didn't read your plan very well.

CuraScript is the specialty drug pharmacy that many insurance companies use in conjunction with Express Scripts.  For certain drugs, you can't get them through your regular CVS; and for others, you and your insurance get a much better deal if you buy a 2-3 month supply at a time from a mail pharmacy.  Express Scripts handles the more run of the mill stuff, while Curascript handles drugs that tend to require prior authorization.  Many times, if you try to just have your doctor call in a prescription for one of those drugs to CVS or Walgreens, a little flag goes up when they try to run it against your insurance info, alerting the insurance company to have CS or ES contact you about the proper way to fill your prescription.

Called at 7:09 pm 7/22. Said for xxx to call about curascript, gave 888-773-7376 as call back number. I don't live in Florida, I have no connection with any pharmacy in Florida, and I see no reason to return a call. They are probably phishing for private info. Most likely a scam.

They keep calling my cell phone number too and yes - it is also on the DO NOT CALL list.

I haven't actually had a call from them, but they do keep sending bills, first for $105.11, then $37.98 ... They actually missed a few letters from my last name. It doesn't show date of service, not the amount billed to the insurance. and at the bottom on the payment slip it asks to check of "I authorize all orders to be charged to this card. Please include acc# on check" ... Sounds fishy to me, I am calling my insurance company tomorrow.

They called my personal cell phone and said they were calling on behalf of my (toddler) daughters doctor. They asked to verify that I was really her parent by giving her birth date and our current address. I kept asking her what it was about and she kept saying that she couldnt answer that until I gave my info to her. I told her that I couldnt give her my info because I didnt know who the hell she was. She said for me to call my daughters pediatrician and they would give me the info. My daughters pediatrician had no clue what it was about. This is obviously a scam. So scary because our daughter has had serious medical issues. When I first got the call, it made me think that a test had come back with something wrong and that maybe they were a lab or something...so glad that I didnt fall for their trickery..Shame on you Curascript...

This number just called my TextFree number 3 times..

These people are clearly in violation of FTC's "Do Not Call" only if they call your DNC-registered number two times or more.

Woke me up twice at 2:00am in the morning. Can't notify anyone at Curascript because they are closed... Disconnecting (unplugging) my phone and will try to call them in the morning ad straighten this thing out.

what's the comany doing? i gave them my insurance's card number, will i in trouble?

The company's fax is constantly calling my house. I have no business with them.

They even knew my dr's address, but they got her name wrong - beware they ask for personal info

This phone number keeps coming up on my cell phone.  I do not have anything to do with this company.   I called this number back and someone answers the phone Curascript Pharmacy.  I asked to speak to a manager.  I have been put on hold for a very long time.  No one answered the line.  Eternal Hold.

The keeping faxing my house as well. I have no association with this company AT ALL.

their outgoing fax called our house several time, I contacted them on 5Mar08 to advise them, they said they would put out a general email to stop faxing to my home number.
