Got a call from phone number 321-932-1430.  The automated messaged starts off with "Let The Memories Begin, Claim #545".  But when I hang up and try to call that phone number, it is a bad number.

At 5:15 am I got the robocall that begins "Let the memories begin!"  How can I stop this?

Called land-line: 02/07/2012.  No message left.  Caller ID: "No Name".  Caller ID# 4079542268.  Caller Location: Florida.

Interesting question "Happy"...  Let's try: Assault, Assault & Battery, Assault Causing Bodily Harm/Injury.  On the FCC level: Threatening, Intimidating, Harassing.  FTC: interfering with inter-State commerce.  Also, if a pattern of behavior/actions is established, possibly Terrorism (remember the "Patriot" Act?).  On the civil level: Real and Punitive Damages.  Is it really worth risking thousands of dollars in potential legal fees and fines, as well as possible incarceration, to succumb to temptation?  Perhaps the Yahoos, out there, with their Air/Freon Horns should take note.  After all, the caller knows the phone number called.  Stay happy, "Happy"...  gizzy...

I got a call today and it was a recording, so I hung up at once.  Interesting that there is a real person there.  Will I get in trouble if I use my gym whistle on a real person and damage his hearing?  So tempting, since I get one of these almost daily.

Got one of those robocalls and was patched through to a live customer service rep to tell me I was "hand selected" to take part in a free trip to DisneyLand.  I gave the person a false name (no, it is not Mike M), then asked how did I come to be "hand selected."  She responded..."Well, we have your name here, and apparently, you have been to Orlando in the last 2 years or were contemplating a trip, and so you were selected based on that."  

I chuckled to myself (going along with this obvious scam), told her "Gee. that's terrific and amazing..considering (A) I've not been to Florida in 15 years (B) Have made no plans to go to Florida in over 10 years, and (C) My name is not Mike... You've just been busted!!"

No.. I don't want to be put on a no-call list.  I WANT them to keep calling, so I can continue to mess with them and waste THEIR time!

Call rec'd 2/8/12 10am. Didn't answer. No voicemail.

We are on the Do not Call list and we get calss from this number repeatedly. When we answer NO one is on the line.

I have a business number at a large corporation and this putz keeps callign and leaving no message. No clue why, no vmail is left.

hung up after 5-6 rings.  didn't even give me a chance to unplug phone line from my modem.  it just rings and rings for them if i do that.  no way to leave a message or even listen to my "not able to take your call" message.

407-954-2268 called my house and a recording came on telling me that I had been selected for some Disney World thing. If I was interested, I was to select option one, and if not interested, to select option two.

I selected option one and told the person who answered (who barely seemed to know that he was answering a call) that I was on the Do Not Call List and wanted to know why he called. He hung up immediately.

This is a scam.

It's one of those scams trying to get financial information from you (Just like those calls for lowering the interest rates on your credit card or mortgage), but spoofs the Caller ID to show a different number. Skype tends to offer it to users in order to avoid the default number being given.

The best thing to do if it starts playing a pre-recorded message after you answer your phone, is to just hang up. Do not hit any keys to say you want to be removed from thier list or to speak to someone. All you do by that is tell the computer that your number is active, and it will keep calling, even with various numbers displayed in Caller ID. The guy with no d*ck finds it amusing whether you speak to him or not, and you just play into his hands by confronting him.

"Let the memories begin!," is how this one starts.  Avoid it!

apparent robo caller left msj but I only heard last few words (because my outgoing msj is long) - I heard  "...you can be removed from this list."  So I checked my phone that gives me the phone numbers of missed calls, and it was the above number, but when I tried phoning it I got "you have reached a number that is no longer in service".  (My phone company rep explained that some numbers are outgoing only.)
I would LIKE to be removed from their list - but how do I contact them (who are they??) to tell them???
And I thought I was on the do-not-call list.
