Credit card offer, probably a scam

I just got a call from the same number, to reduce my credit card rate.  It was a recorded message that said "Press 1 to talk to someone or Press 3 to be taken off the call list".  I pressed 3, let's see if I actually get taken off the list.

this number called me twice in less then 2 hours
on my caller id it shows Salinas, California

Probably a scam.
This is now the third number targeting me, and as such, should probably be regarded as suspicious.

I'd be curious to know if others are receiving calls from more than one of these numbers, as well.

This is a scam call.  Don't give them any information!

Offered to reduce my credit card rates.  Sounds like a scam.

I have received this call many times.  I have also selected 3 to be taken off the list.  Guess it doesn't work, because I received the call again just now.

If you call the number back and press "1", you will be placed on their "do not call" list.

Called at 2:28 and 3:30 in Maryland and left no message

Got a call twice today - didn't answer - no messages.

Called directly to my cell multiple times and never left a message.  I set my cell phone to block their number.

called @ 5:40pm (et) and my name has been on the do not call list for telemarketers...what's the deal...these ppl shouldn't still be harassing me

I am in NY.  3 calls today, 1436, 1520 and 1630. all 3 no msg left.

I received two calls today- one this morning, one just a few minutes ago. No messages left.

Same as Wanda - 2 calls to my cell (how did they get the number?) about an hour apart. Didn't answer & they left no msg.

same as last several posters.. called my cell number, I was not available,they did not leave message.. mine is also a pay as you go number. any way to stop these people from using up our minutes with their worthless junk? can cells be put on do not call?

408-651-8128 @ 3:14pm in NY. Said there was nothing wrong with my account...I dont have an account with them. Offered a lower interest rate. Said to hit 3 to be taken off their list. I hung up, and tried to call back, the number is no longer in service. Traced the area code to San Jose, CA..that is a bit concerning.

I got a call this morning on my cell phone in Ohio.  No message.  I tried to call back (x2) got connected, but nobody on the other side.  Just got another call from same number 5 minutes ago.

Got a call from them less than a minuet ago saying that my home has been selected to receive and I quote "Digital Equipment" the message went on to say that things such as HBO was included for free for 3 months. Press one to learn more or 3 to be removed from the list. Didn't select either and just hung up.

Called @ 2:50pm but didn't leave a message.

Received a call at 2:53 eastern time about affordable healthcare stating that "they" (no company name) have found a solution for me and my family to get healthcare for less the $100.00/month or $3.00/day.  Press one to speak to a rep or two to be removed from the list.
