I recieved a call from a man named Chris he called my home saying he is investigating me and he has a affidavid against my social security number and I am being sued . Ignore him or hang up on him he will stop calling. I told him I was calling the polkice and he got enraged you would thing if he has a affidavid against me and I call the police it would be what he wanted, instead he just gets mad and stops calling.

I keep getting calls from this number and it is scaring me. They saying I owe money and are going to arrest me. What should I do?

Got message again from "Officier Robinson" and he threatened all kinds of things. Another called today from same number with an Indian accent and. I checked the number in a good database and it said it is a landline in Brooklyn, NY. They make it sound like they are in Sunnyvale, CA. These people are dangerous hackers and should be stopped. They have access to people's ID and can use that information they collect from hacking into confidential files.

Got a call from officer Chris Robinson who said he was from Financial Crime Enforcement. He was very loud and intimidating (at least he was trying to be). Said he was from law enforcement and was calling about a "fraud" that was committed. He said he had an affidavit. Said he was somewhere in California, maybe San Jose or Texas San Antonio. Can't remember. When I questioned him about few things he wanted to verify my address. I suspected he was not legitimate and hung up when he wanted to check my address. Shows as a wireless number on my phone. He should be stopped immediately. Very dangerous activity.

this guy....who claimed to be officer robinson is trying to make me pay more on a loan than i owe, and is threating legal action as well a having me arrested and making me lose my job.complete crap...is there anything we can do?!?!?

This person has been calling me asking for me for a week. I don't even work at this office and they are harassing and cursing my co-workers. They are very unprofessional.

I basically got the same call from a Chris Morgan and threatened with court, garnished wages, and I do not have a payday loan with his company. Have about had it as he calls my phone and calls at work. Is there any way I can stop this?

This guy called my office and harrassed me, my coworker and our CEO threatening a "law suit" and calling us racists when we wouldn't give out information on an employee. He obvisouly gathered some of our employee's information somehow and wanted his contact information. He called my coworker a liar numerous times and criticised our company for not releasing private information. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! Just hang up on the guy. I told him if he kept calling we would call the police and report him. He didn't like that and became even more enraged. We hung up over and over. He will keep calling but after several more hang ups he will leave you alone and move on to the next target. The guy goes by the name Chris Robbinson with Cash Advance Inc. His caller ID shows (408) 633-9344. Hope people catch on to this and shut these guys down!

hi  i  got the same  things,  the thing is , he did not have the amount that i actually owed right. he was way off, and i got called into the place i work, saying that  they were going to charge me with fraud!
he was actually rude to my boss   the general manager  at work, my boss even let me use his personal phone to call him back  i have talked to a laywer,and unless i am working 4o hours a week, which i am not,and making minium wage, which i am making slightly more, they cannot garnish my wages. i have to be working at least 4o hours a week, plus i am on medical assitance, they cannot harrass you at work. they cannot!!!!!!!! and once i told hoim that  he was all apologetic.  people  you need to know your rights   you do still have some.  EDUCATE YOURSELF  ASK QUESTIONS,!!!

Hello, i would like to press charges against a MR. Chris Robinsion. here is his  phone number 408-663-9344. Here is my complaint.  He called my place of emplyoment, which i will leave out of this for right now, at 2:30pm cst.on  Monday May 23 2011. I was called into My General Managers office, he informed me that this Man MR Chris Robinsion had called and actually was very rude to  my boss,  he informed me that  the company that MR Robinson  worked for  Cash advance Inc. planed to take action agaist me for payday fraud.  My Boss was graicous enough to use his  perssonal phone to call MR Robinson  Back, in which i did,  he informed me that i owed them 280.00. which is totally  False,  i do have  a payday loan out, BUT NOT THAT AMOUNT<AND NOT WITH THAT COMANY!!!.  I have been repeatedly harrassed, and now threatened. I know my rights  they are not allowed to contact me at work, at anytime, and i do not even owe this company.  I want   charges pressed against  Him.

Don't  how these "RAGHEADS" (obvious Indian accent) got my numbers but I reported them to the FTC, FBI, BBB and the Attorney General's office of Consumer Affairs. Somehow someway these idiots have to be stopped. I hope that NO ONE ever gets trapped and fooled by these jerks. Should you happen to answer the call, always question their identification and return number. When I called the FTC their advise was to hang up immediately and should they return call again continue to hang up. Like any prey seeking animal that can't catch their meal...they'll give up.

There is a new scam going on.  A guy will call you claiming his name is John Anderson and that he is from the Bureu of the Justice Information Department.  He will try to get you to verify your personal information such as your name, birthday and social security number.  He will claim that you are a criminal and are being charged with fraud.  These are totally false claims and he only wants to obtain your information.  Do not tell this guy anything.  He might try to be very persistant and harass you.  I contacted my local police department and they made a note.  There is not much else they could do.  the number comes up 000 on your caller I.D.
