I received call from this number 408-668-9141 (1408-668-9141) on 29th Jan 2014. Stating His name is Joyce Anderson and he is calling from Tax department. The call was regarding pending tax to be paid and that too by Western union or Money gram!! (Don't know if any where in world, people pay tax to government through Western union or Money gram). Be aware of such scams and frauds.

I've been chosen for "Free Federal Government Grant money". This is bull. If you haven't applied for a grant you can NOT just be chosen for one. Callers are stating that you get this free grant money due to you paying bills on time, paying your taxes on time, being a good citizen (no jail time). There is no such thing.Please don't be afraid to ask them questions. They will give you fake ID#. They will also give you websites that you can go to that seem to be good websites but still don't trust. Any grant that has been awarded to you will NEVER ask for money from you to receive it. So, between you NOT filing for a grant and them asking for money are the 2 major keys of knowing it's fraud. Never give bank info, social security, ID/DL info. Yes they will know your address because this can be seen worldwide. Don't be a victim. Here are some numbers just from this week.
