take me off your list and stop calling

I purchased Stonewave pots from tv. As a result, I received a phone call from Select Customer Services today saying they would use my credit card with which I purchased Stonewave and were sending some jewelry to me which would be charged on my credit card.  I emphatically decline but she would not take no. Evidently they still plan on charging me with their junk or just wanted me to verify my credit card number.
I was called from 408-754-5577.  I called back but only got a recording with no way to leave a message.
This needs to STOP.

My caller ID shows Appleseeds/Tog shop and I called them to report this annoying call which happens everyday.  They checked the number and told me it is a valid number checking on anything you ordered from them.  I called the number myself and an automated voice comes on and asks for your number and leave a message which I did not.  Press #2 to be placed on their "do not call list" which I did so will wait to see if it works.

calls EVERYDAY many many times --- no message just some breathing when they left a message. Make them stop.

Who are these people? How do I get them to stop calling me?

Had a call from this number that showed Appleseeds catalog. When I called the catalog they said DO NOT order from this number. Alarming to say the least. I called my charge card and cancelled the card. They said to take no chances.

It says: "How to stop calls from 408-754-5040" but I don't see any how-to! This latest time they called I was on the phone with a medical professional--it was very annoying to keep getting the beep, both from the call itself and the blank (silent) voice message they left. I still don't know who is calling me!!!

Found a blank (silent) voice mail message from this number on my cell phone tonight (07/10/2013.) I'd forgotten to take the phone with me, which is probably just as well. Didn't check what time the call came in before deleting the message. That too is probably just as well. It must have been between  9PM and 11:30PM.

jiust received a call from 408 754 5040 with garbled anouncement of who they are.  i have not made any purchase from this concern.  please put a stop to these calls.  i believe  this is a scam.

Keep filing those DNC complaints. The feds *do* take action eventually and the crooks generating the most complaints are at the top of the list.
The bad guys *do* falsify their Caller ID information, but even falsified information can help authorities track down the culprits through Traffic Analysis.
Filing a complaint doesn't guarantee action. But not filing complaints pretty much guarantees no action.

You're about as naive as they come. The DNC and the FCC useless complaint form (online) are a waste of time. Callers not only spoof their Caller IDs but their numbers as well. I've submitted countless phone numbers/callers to the FCC to complain. FCC won't take any action against individual callers or companies. They'll tell you that when they finally respond to the online form you submit, which takes a few weeks for them to get around to their response. All they do is take information and you think you're doing something useful. NOT. The DNC is a total crock. With spoofing, which of course our brilliant Congressional and FCC lackeys didn't consider, the DNC is meaningless. Number spoofing has been around for years.

Get a grip on reality folks. The DNC and FCC will not help you. Your best hope is to somehow block unknown callers, or turn off your ringer, or use some kind of filtering machine.

What the heck??!! We don't answer any calls unless we know who it is or we know the Caller ID is legitimate. Too easy to spoof ID and number these days, which callers do.

I am also on the DNC list but have received repeated calls from this number.  It appears as APPLESEEDS/TOG on my caller ID.

How do I get this number on a list to keep from calling me??

I placed an order with the Tog Shop and 5 mins later got a call from this number asking if I was going to be placing an order with the Tog Shop soon and offering a complicated discount thing. When I said I had just placed an order online she said, "Oh" and hung up.

I too am on the Do Not Call List! I called the number and listen to the message. I was prompted to select 2 if I did not want to them to call me again.  I wanted to speak to a person to tell them I was on the do not call list and stop calling me but no one would answer me!

I just called them again and said that this practice is unsettling because I thought it was a stalker.  I just asked them to leave a message on the phone so people can id the caller or send an email if it is a coupon offer in appreciation for the business.  If it is just a tangentially related telemarketing effort, it is in violation of the DNC list, of which I am a member.  I asked them to rethink this annoying and even unsettling business practice.

This is a customer appreciation call from Orchard Lines or something like that.  I had ordered from Winter Silk and now they want to offer me something in appreciation for my business.  I don't know if it was to be a coupon or an offer for something totally different than what I have even ordered before.  I found this out by calling the number back (as I was going to file a complaint at the fcc.gov) to get more information than I got when I didn't answer the three times that they called me.  I decided not to file a complaint, but they should leave a v/m, instead of acting like a stalker and repeat calling without leaving a message.

Tell them to stop calling.  They will.

Stop these calls.  I have an unlisted number! The only way I knew they were calling because I was home by chance.  They never leave a message!!

Does not leave a message, but Caller ID says Appleseeds/Tog Shop, both of which are women's clothing catalogs.

Received 2 calls (so far) from (408) 754-5040 --  (02.14.13 @ 11:14 am & 02.21.13  @ 09:52 am.)  We answered neither call, no message was left, and the CID was just the phone number.  
We have ordered from Winter Silks which is "related" to Appleseeds & the Tog shop, so the calls were probably the same annoying sell-job.

have been getting calls from this number for weeks --last week i finally answered my cell phone.  the man claimed i had purchased some kind of shirt last october and wanted to offer me 40% off of my next order provided i gave HIM my credit card information.  i told him it wasn't a good time to get ahold of me -- so he waited a week and called me this evening.

although the area code is 408 he claims that he's actually in maine.

also the man claims the company's name is Appleseed and that they sell clothes and tried to give me the website but even though i asked him at least 4 times to repeat the name of the website -- i still couldn't get any answer beyond Appleseed[mumble mumbe mumble] company.

Called back and got telephone tree recording saying I had reached Orchard Branch of Magazines

Ignored the call from this number today

when will they get the message that they are a nuisance to society.

This number keeps calling my house. I will not pick up the phone anymore for them, but I am on the do not call list, so I don't know why they are doing it anyway
