Totally legit. Tenant screening. My current renters are moving and I got a call.  Called back, answered their scripted questions about my tenant. No problems.

I think it is a legit number. On-Site is a screening company working for apartment companies to check tenants' income and employment status, I guess. Maybe they do some background check, such as apartment rental history, criminal record, DL record, or credit history. I am not 100% sure about it but I applied for an apartment lease, I got a phone call from this number, I picked up the phone, I talked with the representative, and at the same time, I got contacted by the apartment agent with the same issue. That means this number is possibly legit.

Strange call listed as (on site manager on caller ID). Asking for tenant ref. but seemed to want someone else, landlord?. would not fax. looks like a scam?
