Had a message at work to call Jenny Robeson at this number.  I havent' called back yet.  From what I understand she is associated with payday loan people.  The message said it's concerning a legal matter.

Received a call from these people indicating the same thing.  In searching, I believe they are associated with Ellis Crosby and Associates who have already been sued in the State of Florida.  They will lie.  They say that they are with the US National Bank Criminal Crime Division -- don't believe a word they say.  I have filed another complaint with the Attorney's general office in Florida.  Note:  When you do call them back, the phone rings one time and hangs up on you.  Not a legitimate company.  Do not give them any bank information.

Got the same call as everyone else.  I called the FTC yesterday and filed a complaint.  Also they have no information on the company nor have ever heard of them either!

I received a call from these people last week and the guys name is Frank Johnson, he left me this number first to call 1-410-807-0505 and the number was not in service. Then I received another call from them yesterday leaving a different number 1-410-807-4506. I called them back, they were very, very rude. They said I have to pay $700.00 from 2005 from a loan that I owed.  They also, had my old back information and my SS#.  They said, if I do not pay them by 5pm, I will be up for cases charges.  I them called my local police department, and they said DO NOT give any information.  They can NOT Arrest you at all or press charges against you, they are from pay day loan companys and they get your information from them if you took one out in the past saying you did not pay.  Be careful, they will keep calling, even your place of employment.

I agree with Mary. Do not give them any information. They are con artist using scare tatics to get money out of people. Report them to the FTC and to your State AG office. They are part of Ellis and Crosby and might also be associted with ARM collection agency from Jacksonville FL. I tell you these criminals are such dumb a**. Get a real job.

got a call from the number 408-693-3158 he has said that his name is Jack martin, and today his name is Richard. Richard told me to call him back on his hotline 410-807-4506. He has a foreign accent, and tells me that I am up on all kinds of charges and if i dont call him he wishes me good luck. These  are all scams from pay day loan operations. They try to scare you into giving them money. They will claim that they are going to arrest you and bring you up on charges. First it is illegal for them to even say this over the phone. Dont give them any info, even though they have all of yours. Beware they will not stop, they will call your place of employment and tell your boss that you are going to arrested, they will change their numbers and change names. I speak first hand to all of this. I have reported them to every law enforcement agency out there. Please be very careful...

These guys were featured on 60 Minutes.  They got their information by hacking into Internet sites, and they threaten lawsuits against the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.  They speak with an Indian accent, and they claim you will face "harsh legal action" unless you send them between $500 and $1,000.  They are total idiots because their name does not even make sense:  United Investigation Bureau Department.

They use names like Roger Smith and Jack Jones, but their real names are probably something like Mahamanda Yogananda.  They can barely speak English.

They use various call back numbers including 347-844-6701 and 718-766-7916.

The best idea so far was what Paybackisabeatch suggested.  Turn the tables on them.  Call them back, ask for Habib, waste their time so that they cannot make money with scam calls to extort money from honest people who may get frightened or confused.

Well today yet another call, this time from Richard, telling me to call them right away regarding a legal matter, and if I didnt call he wishes me "Good Luck" Also, he told me to call his hotline at 410-807-4506.

caller id comes up as 408-693-3158. For all out there this is a SCAM!!! Do Not be fooled by these people. They have changed their numbers many times on me. Do your research...you can look at logs for 408-693-3158, and then look up the other numbers.
