I guess they like us Aragons huh?  Except it became my last name 6 months ago. I'm getting the same BS at home, hopefully I can get the annoying calls to stop with the info I received on this site.

They started calling my work asking for Patricia Aragon ( I just changed my last name to Aragon a month ago everything I have is under my maiden name) I told her I had already reported her calls and she hung up. Ugh!! How do I stop the calls to my work?? And how did they even get my info?

This is a SCAM. A person named Brian Logan called me and threatened me to pay my outstanding CC bill with capital one which I don't have and he calls me from my home and work number while his number is of Maryland. He Scammed me, I paid a huge amount to them and when he told me that i have CC bill from capital one and a doubt arouse in my mind I contacted Capital One and they told I never had an account with them. Be aware of these SCAMMERS this is all B***S*** don't fall in the trap.

If they are calling saying you owe a debt - whether or not you actually owe one.. remember this:

1: If they cannot produce paperwork or the name of the original person owed, dont play with them. Tell them you want it in writing or they can blow you. Unless they can provide proof on paper, it doesnt exist.

2: If they threaten you with the sheriff, ignore them. Owing a debt (whether you do or not) and not paying it is a civil suit, not criminal. The police will not even get involved. If they threaten you, tell them you'll be sitting out on your porch waiting for them.

3: No one will call you to tell you you're being served with court papers of any kind, a person will just show up at your door with them.


Report this number to the FTC. The next time they call, tell them you have done this. Tell them paperwork or nothing at all, then hang up.

Put your SS# on alert, tell them you do not want anyone pulling your credit report unless you specifically call and give permission. Call your bank and put them on alert, or close and open a new account if you have to. If you have credit cards, do the same.

he keeps calling me and now he says he is sending the shreiff out here nows where i work and my address and everything about me what do i do

I HAVE BEEN CALLED NOW FOR ABOUT A WEEK.  I PERSON ON THE PHONE IS VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND HE WILL NEVER SAY THE NAME OF THE LAW OFFICE CLEARLY SO I CAN LOOK IT UP.  tHE ONLY WORDS HE MAKES IT SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IS SUING, BIG TROUBLE, ATTORNEY, AND HIS NAME WHICH HE IS USING kEN jACKSON.  THIS IS A BIG PILE OF _ _ _ _!!!!  IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THEM TO STOP PLEASE SHARE IT WITH ME!!!  hE AND HIS SUPPOSED BOSS CALL ME AT WORK, AT HOME, AND ON MY CELL.  I COULD EVEN SEE IT IF I HAD SOMETHING WITH THESE PEOPLE AND WASN'T PAYING BUT EVERY LOAN I HAVE I AM PAYING, SO I KNOW THIS IS CRAPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT IF THEY ARE TRYING TO DO BUSINESS IN THIS COUNTRY THEN THEY HAD BETTER LEARN TO SPEAK IT!!!!!

I got the same call today! Have you gotten any results? I also checked my account and there isnt any money in there either. just got a call from 972-222-1830 sounded like the same guy who called me yesterday but this time its  a spoof number any one know if he uses this number to i can call the one on this post back just want to make sure its the same person before i take care of it for good

These con artist called himself Adam Smith of some law firm, bar#268952, just called me today stating that I am being sued by a cash advance company for not paying them back a loan, they woundnt tell me what company, the amount or date of the loan. I  never recieved money from any company. they keep requesting I should settle the case outside the court by paying $750 to them with my credit or debit card. Requesting my credit card number,a copy of my drivers licence and a letter stating that I choose to settle my debt out side the court. If I dont do these things they will call my job. they have the last four 4 numbers of my social security number, and my address. What do I do?

This guy with a heavy accent called and said he was calling from *** and *** Law Firm. Can't understand a word he was saying said his name was Sam Jackson or something like that. I will be contacting my states Attorney General and have them contact him about this SCAM.

he called my house i wasn't able to answer called back told him to stop calling he said he cant got a law suit on me i said i bet you can. and will as i called he asked my name said dont bother asking stop calling so then he said my name. said yea im sure you know .
told him not to call and hung up came here then called him again asked him which name he was today he is Adam. and then when i asked him all the stuff i read on here  he kept saying excuse me i said just remove me .asked for my number i said you got it i know cause you knew damn well who i was when i called the first time remove me . so will see if hes gonna call again.

These people keep calling and threatening with law suits and they in the last two days have called 16 times one call right after another. Asking for my daughter and wanting personal information saying it is for the lawyer that they are working with. Then they say you are being recorded and you must not interupt them until they are finished because the lawsuit is a federal lawsuit.

I have been harassing them and it's fun first I called them and played them some music when they answerd and then I left them a disturbing message (not saying what it was lol) then I called them over the weekend and left them a message asking why they did'nt scam people on the weekend's and then I called them asking for some body else and I am going to call them tommorow and try to catch them in a lie

i have received two calls from this man within 5 minutes.   Cannot understand a word he is saying.  I do  not answer any calls that i don't recognize.  Leaves messages today about a lawsuit and my name and social security number

The person who calls cannot be understood. He says he is from a law firm and he is calling on behalf of a pay day loan company. He called me 25 times in 2 hours. He has threatened me with a law suit and used fowl language. If I answer and hang up he calls right back and if I don't answer right away he calls right back. His name is hard to understand. He has also called from this number: 516-531-4644. He has used different numbers to try and get me to pick up. I have talked to the police and filed a complaint with Federal Trade Commision. They said to ignore the calls that it is a con artist.

i've made a police report and contacted the federal trade commission they stated ignore them or play hardball, you have the upper hand on this. dont let them scare you like they did me. they started using the area code i live in and said they were te sheirrfs and were looking for me so becareful. after filing the reports i feel alot better, but the calls still come in. they will use different names and all different numbers i dont answer my phone.i also made a dispute with my bank and have closed accounts. good luck dont get fooled like me.

I keep getting these calls to I have been saving my messages. What are you all doing about this. What can we do about this? I hate to even answer my phone or even hear it ring because of these calls.

This person keeps calling me about some lawsuit against me using different names each time he calls. He uses American names but has a thick indian accent.

I have the same messages going on...funny thing is I haven't gotten a loan EVER and I haven't had a checking account in over 7 years so I have no idea what they are calling me about.  They were talking about filing fraud and some other charges.  I THINK he said his name was Ken or Tim or Kim I am not sure and I can't understand what "law firm data collection agency" he said but it was something like Yukavich Law Firm and Data Collection Cedar Rapids Division (I live in Iowa) but he is very difficult to understand.  Most of it sounded like jibberish.  I have done reverse look ups on this line and it comes back to 3-4 cities in Maryland. NONE of which are Cedar Rapids.  It must be fake.

I am recieving multiple calls from this number and other numbers but the same person.They are of another decent and very hard to understand, the background is very loud and distorted and not to mention that they are rude.  What I have been able to understand is that they are calling in reguards to an affidavit that is connected to my name, social security number, address and phone number, and that all this information is on an application of something that I owe.  And that they are going to continue to call if I do not return their call.  Kinda funny I dont an attorney for they to get any information to or from.  Sounds like I should get one though so I can file a report against them for harassment.  They will call 6 times in 4 minutes, no joke.  I am glad to know that i am not the only one that are recieving these calls but then again I am sorry that we all have to deal with this.  People should really get jobs and not try to prey or others.

Called 3 times in the last 5 minutes. Very heavy accent, stating my name and social security number has been associated with a lawsuit.  I cut him off stating I couldn't understand him and that unless he called back with someone more understandable to not contact me again.  I also stated that if infact my name was involved with a lawsuit I would be contacted by my lawyer or atleast someone who could actually PRONOUNCE MY NAME.

called me threatening to sue me... advised that they were an atty for a loan company that i took a loan from online... and that if i didnt give them my atty information and respond that they were going to supeonea me and f**cking sue me... (their words) have 4 voicemails and 10 calls in one day...

I got the same calls... so glad I am not the only one... They went to the extent of calling me over 10 times in one day left me 6 voicemails... when i called them back one time their name was Jeff and the other time Jose... they told me if i didnt get them the information they were going to F**king suing me...

I just called them back and got voice mail. I played about a minute of a song by T-pain called church. If they want to bug the crap out you, me, or anyone else for that matter, I vote we should all call them and play music to them. Not illegal. They will just have a poor quality mixed tape when they check the voice mails hahahahaha. If they keep calling. I'm gonna keep playing music lol. good luck everyone. lets fight these idiots back.
