Tom, we got a telezapper as a gift from a friend.
It must work because when we answered the phone no one was on the line.
The "Telezapper" makes a beep noise EVERY TIME you pick up the phone and is a little annoying at first, but you get used to it. Your friends and family WILL ask you what the beep is all about, but once you explain it to them it is no problem. I do not know how much the unit costs but maybe you can find one at a garage sale or on e-bay.(And NO, I do not work for them !)

We got a call today at 3:30 from this number.
When we answered the call no one was there.
I guess my TELEZAPPER works and it got him ?

Didn't let him finish. Just told him to F... Off and hung off. I love it it when it's not a recording. Some small satisfaction, even if childish. Promptly Reported to Do Not Call. We've been inundated with calls in the last week. These idiots work with impunity.

Received a call from this number today. Person who called was male and sounded foreign. He
said call was related to our mortgage, but we do not have a mortgage on our home. When I told him
that, he hung up. I did the reverse call numbers to get the number he was calling from. Tried to
reach it, but I get a message saying the call cannot be completed as dialed.
