I received a call from this number of my cell phone and didn't answer it. No message was left.

Who/what ever this is using a robo dialer hung up & did not leave message when voicemail kicked in.

got a call from 4109687980, asked for my mother in law...alot of noise in background. I dont have caller ID. I said I didnt know her [mother in law] and they said 'ok.'

This call came through but showed MRS---Who are debt collectors and have been calling my number from 2 other numbers now this 3rd one looking for my sister!!!!!

This call came in early this morning. We never answer numbers we do not know. Upon looking it up, we see everyone is getting calls for vacations. I called them back to inform them we are on the DNC list and they answer the phone as MRS Associates. When asking what they were calling in reguards to, the gentleman informs me in a very rude tone that he needs information and permission from me because this is an attempt to collect a debt. The person he was looking for is not at this number and I let him know that. He was still very rude and insistant that I was who he was calling for. After him refusing to connect me to a supervisor, I just got sick of the abuse and hung up.

I don't know anybody who wants to receive unsolicited phone calls from marketing firms.  Especially on cell phones. The only way to stop it is to make it a capital offense. The method should be medieval old school: hung, drawn and quartered. Yeah I know I'm nuts but I am that angry.

These people have been calling my registered don-not-call number for months. I picked up a couple of times to hear different automated messages each time. Last week I called the number back and got a live person. I informed her that I would file a complaint with the FCC if they didn't stop calling. Since then they've called several times a day, a.m. and p.m. - 3 times today! This is now clearly harrassment.

I received call 7/28/09 at 4:38 pm. I suspect that it a spammer.  I did not answer the call.  No voice message was left, so I figured that it must not be as important if no fails to leave a message.

I just recieved the call from this number. what a stupid message she was talking so fast you can barely understand..

same call...i supposedly entered some contest (i didn't)..."no purchase required"....blah blah blah.  i didn't return a call. if you really have won a true prize, they'd definitely give you more than 24 hrs to claim it. trust me, i HAVE won a real vacation in the past. they don't give up contacting you immediately like that. they make sure they get hold of the winner.

Got the same call and did not answer. A message was left that my name was pulled from a drawing that I "or a family member" entered.  The offer was for a free trip to Cancun, Cozumel, etc. airfare, hotel, and all meals and activities.  I have 24 hours to claim my prize.  So I called the 877 number and in order to claim my prize, I need to attend a "reception" for the "United Travel Network" prior to being given the prize.  So there's the catch.

Received call from this number yesterday, 24 March.  It turned out to be a recorded sales pitch of some kind, but the recording took so long to start I almost hung up.  Once the recording did start, and I recognized what it was, I did hang up.  My cell number is new and it surprised me the spamers got it so fast.  My new cell was registered with "Do Not Call" as soon as I got home.  I hope you find this one.

The key phrase in that nonsense automated msg is: "no OBLIGATION to purchase anything.." LOL..  

anyways.. at least they didn't kill trees to send letters which always end up in my trash can.

Got a call from this number (didn't answer) listened to the message and they said I had 24 hours to claim my trip (which i had put my name in a drawing? from 6 months ago apparently...never did)Saying they would pay for airfare, drinks, resort, activities (sounded way too good to be true).

I received the same call today. I didn't answer because I live in IL and the number is long distance. They didn't leave a message so I decided to check who it was on-line. I'm just hoping they don't call back!

410-968-7980 This number would call my cell phone several times a day without leaving a message.  I called it back and talked to a gentleman who says it is a company called MRS.  It is a collection company.  I hope this helps the rest of you who get this number calling you.

I got one too just now.  Same recorded message.  I didn't press 1 because I've heard that there are some scams out there that by pressing a connecting button, you actually make an international call (and have the subsequent expense).

Voice message said I signed up for something last year and they pulled me and I won a vacation to Mexico and to press 1 to accept.  Not sure what would happen if I press 1.

I just got a voicemail from them about an entry I filled out and winning a trip... Sounds like a time share scam...  Only place I've used my cell number recently was an Apple Vacation to Mexico...

they just called me at 10:35 am on March 28, 2009. I don't answer long distance phone calls. message says 2 tickets to mexico free everything paid for.

I got a message too from 410-968-7980. How do I block it?

I keep getting phone calls from them on my Tracfone (which costs me minutes) every damn time I answer. I'm getting rather sick of the telephone ringing with promos and sells ads. Anyone know of a way of changing cellphone numbers?

I've never done this before.
