Received multiple calls on Nov 9 . When picked up the phone no one answered. Called back and the call fails and I get message from my network indicating that the call is not allowed.

Missed the call, and I also tried calling back, but no connection.  I saw one reference to StichStarSolutions - whoever they are.

I got 3 calls from this number today. I picked up the phone and no one said anything and when i tried calling back i got a busy signal

They are somehow connected to WAMU. If it is their direct collection center or an outside collection center for them. But def for the company WAMU. (Washington Mutual).

I received a call from this number on my work cellphone (not even registered to me, but to the company I work for). I didn't have my pbone with me at the time. There was no message left. I tried calling back and it just kept ringing. I let it ring probably about 3o to 40 times. I hate jerk calls like that. I am going to post a complaint on the do not call list.

I got a call from this number as well, as a friend of mine found out. For the past two days or so, the three of us have been getting "unavailable" calls at night between 9 and midnight. Every time it leaves a message or we pick up, the only noise we hear is each others' voice mailbox status messages.

I got a call from this number stating that they were calling about an inquiry i made about an auto loan.  The guy definatly sounded foreign.  I told him I wasn't home and to call back in the late evening.  they called back 5 min later.  They left no message.

This number rang me 4 times today, nobody on the other end.

ya they keep calling me too. i've gotten close to 3 dozen calls in the last half hour. everytime they call its something dumb. several times thjey've called they played the sound of a phone ringing. another time it was an answering machine. wow. they've called 3 times since i started typing this. 4 times now. yeah. it spretty annoying. now we're up to lucky number 5. but yeah. someone apparently has a lot of free time on their hands.6 times. it's about every 5 seconds now. but yeah, its at least comforting to know that im not their only "victim" if you could call it that. (since they're not any good at prank calling)

I just got a call from this number and when I tried to call back my ATT phone said the call would not go through, because it was "not allowed" weird!!!!!! what creeps!!!!!!

I got a call from this number too.  They said my insurance policy was up.

it is january 1, 2009 at 11:13am, and i receive a call from this number (412-258-1152). i didnt have my phone with me so i missed the call, but saw this missed call only 2 minutes later. so i texted the number asking who it was but received a message back from sprint saying that it could not be sent to a landline and "we attemped to deliver the message 3 times with no answer. please try again later". i looked up the number on white pages and it was unlisted. i called it back only to receive an immediate busy signal on the line several times. i noticed a lot of people saying theyve received many calls from this number, this is only the first one i've gotten but i really hope it is the last.

I get a call on my cell phone every afternoon at about 3 PM EST from (412)258-1152, but no one is on the line. When I try to call the number back, the recorded message says it is a number which cannot be called or the number is now out of the area. This has been happening every day since very early December 2008. It is now 2:28 PM on December 16, 2008, and I'm waiting to see if it happens again today.

It happened to me as well. My guess is that it is a calling card service number. When someone calls you, this is the number to the local call is made from.

I got a legitimate call from a coworker in the UK (London) from 412-258-1152 today. Sometimes when I get a call from the UK it says it is from 630 or 312, which is my physical location (Chicago), but my cell # is 412. I have received calls from Avon, MA where the number on the caller ID started with 312 (Chicago). These calls are always from people I know, and are all work related. I would love to know what this is all about. My carrier is AT&T. I doubt these people are calling from cell phones. I will ask next time.

We get calls from this number everyday.  Whenever we pickup there is no one on the line.  We call back no one answers.  This has been going on for several weeks.

I have also received several call's from this number. I think it should be turned into the phone company. Spam Call's.

Oh boy...I started getting calls from this number just today. So far, I've gotten 2. No messages left and no answer when I call. After several rings you'll get a busy signal. I'm so fortunate to have caller I.D at work as well. This number is calling my work phone.

It was a voice recording trying to get you to sign up for something.  This number should be blocked or something as I've seen a lot people getting calls from this

Yes, we have been getting calls from this number. When we try to call back either no one picks up (does not goes to voice mail box) or get a TV-without-signal buzzing sound.

Its now calling me at least eight times a day

I got a call from this number and I answered it was a women saying that i applied for a loan with a company called Phizer Financial. She then told me i was approved for the loan but i had to pay them $1500 in advance before i recevied the loan because of my credit history, Sounds like a scam be aware.

I received a call from this number from someone who emailed me from a craigslist posting to rent my house. he claimed to be from the UK under the name Lewis Splatter. He provided me a number in the UK, but called me from this number which is showing up on Grant St in downtown Pittsburgh. He sent me a check and asked to deposit it and send the balance to him via Western Union.

Very interesting. A white pages search gives you a picture of where (they claim) the call is originating which look like a public phone in downtown pittsburgh. Given people's experiences above, doubtful that it originates there. We live in a strange world where this is possible.

Somewhat reassuring that the number is hitting other people, though.

Recieved several calls from this number weeks ago, no answer. Got one today and it was my friend in Australia! He assured me he had the same phone number as always?????
